Bullying

"Sup, slut," Damion's voice rang in my ear. Slut. That word stung, and it wasn't his worst. I've been called a bitch, a whore, worthless, waste of life, just to name the kinder ones. Even though, I opened my locker, grabbed some books, and turned to him with a smile. Today would be my last day. My last breath would be taken tonight. If you didn't get the hints, I was going to kill myself.

"Hey, Damion," I said, still smiling.

His nose crinkled. "Someone's happy. It's disgusting, Ryan."

I sighed. "Just, a bit excited for tonight."

"Why? What're you doing?" He hissed.

I slammed my locker. "Why do you need to know? You don't own me!"

Damion scowled. He pushed me towards the lockers. "Listen here, bitch. I'm gonna ask what I want and you're going to tell me what I want to know. Is that understood?"

I bit the inside of my lip. "No, it's not understood. I don't understand. Get out of my face, Michaels!" I regret the words the minute they escaped my lips. Oh no, it was coming.

He raised a fist and it soon met my nose. Nose, meet fist. Fist, meet nose. Sensing from the pain and blood that escaped my nose, they didn't get along too well. I dropped my books and backpack and held my nose.

Damion swaggered down the hall. He mumbled something, but I only caught 'teach you' and 'slut'. Gee, Damion, thanks. This is one of the reasons it's my last day of living.

I sunk to my knees and began gathering my things when the bell rang. Great. Ah, well, who cares? It's my last wretched day at this hellhole. I ignored the blood and stuffed my books in my backpack before running towards the bathroom as everyone hurried to their classes. Well, I thought it was everyone. Little did I know a boy was watching me from near the boys bathroom.

I ran to the sink and tried to wash away any traces of blood. My nose was bruising so I put on some foundation to cover up the greenish-purplish mark. I began to think about the world around me. Damion was my ex. He was also my bully. He was never this violent in the relationship. He was acually quite caring and sensitive, which is why I was so heartbroken when he dumped me four months ago in December, right before Christmas Break. I was so upset, I refused to do anything for Christmas. I didn't even buy any gifts, which I soon regret but made up for around Valentine's Day.

Since I had little to nothing left to worry about today, I decided I would ask Damion why exactly he dumped me. We had almost all our classes together, and we sit right next to each other, since we chose seats in the begining of the year, and they were permanent. He didn't bother me in class, though, just in the hall. Oh well.

I turned the sink off before I heard the late bell. I sighed. I'll get to class eventually.

I looked left and right before proceding down the hall, as if I was crossing the street. I wanted to make sure no one saw me. I was used to seeing no one, which is why I barely noticed someone, just, waiting, by the boys bathroom towards my left. I quickly turned my head back around, only to find he was gone. I shook it off, because I was probably just seeing things, and ran down the hall to my class.

I arrived three minutes late. Who cares?

"Ryan Matthews, you are late. Please take your seat and open your notebook." Ahh, she does.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Grey. It won't happen again," because i won't be coming here agin.

I took my seat and got out my notebook before a boy walked in.
