Henrick's POV
From what it seemed like to me, the day would go by fast, and I didn't want it to. The one time Dr.Iplier and I hang out we just seem...awkward. Too awkward. What am I thinking? It's probably my fault.
As we walked into the Macy's store, I could see lots and lots of items. It was almost overwhelming. It was the kind of feeling that you get when you ask for a small ice-cream but then you get the large instead. You're excited yet scared at the same time. But this time, I'm going to try and make things more fun.
"Come on! Let's go looked around." I said to Iplier, gently grabbing his hand and walking him to the men's section.
The sight was truly grand, so many types of fabric, styles, colors. As soon as I knew it, my excitement was gushing out. Why I was getting so excited over this? Well, I always want to look my best whenever I can. Looks can be deceiving, but always put your best foot forward.
"What do you want to look at first?" Dr.Iplier asked me.
I looked around the area. Quickly, I spotted a display of differant, cool t-shirts and sweatshirts. My two favorite clothing items. We walks over to the display and looked around it, Iplier staying in his position while I walked to the back side of it. Shifting through the sweatshirts, I saw a cool retro looking one with a checkered print across the shoulders and mint green on the rest of the shirt. I very much liked this one, so I held it up against my chest to show Iplier.
"What do you think?" I asked.
He studied the look for a second then smiled as a small hint of blush spread across his cheeks. "It suits you very well. I like it a lot."
I smiled back and folded it up, checking if it was my size. It was a size extra of what I'd usually wear but that didn't bother me, you always have to have some sort of big, cozy shirt. "Then I think I'll buy it."
"Oh I insist on getting it for you. Trust me." He nodded.
"Really? Are you sure? I mean, not to be rude-"
"You're not being rude." He came by my side and put an arm around me. "Let me treat you." His voice seemed more velvety than usual, absoluetly delectable.
I looked up at him and felt a heat come over myself. "I-uh, well, if you do insist. But I owe you!"
Dr.Iplier chuckled. "You don't. Just make sure you don't act so bashful against yourself."
Why would he be telling me to do that? No one ever complains about that of all things I do. I guess I should at least comply with it. "Alright, but u can't make any promises."
Dr.Iplier picked up a Star Wars t-shirt. "Anyways, I'm getting this. I like it a lot."
I nodded and we continued to look around the men's section. Occasionally looking at some pants, shorts, accessories, and other items that seemed interesting. Soon, we each had a few things. I had the sweater, a long black scarf, and a pack of hair pins. Iplier had his Star Wars shirt, a pair of bootcut jeans, shoe shiner, and a bottle of water he just decided to get. We had all of our stuff in a basket.
"I've got to go to the bathroom quick. Can you watch the stuff?" Iplier looked at me.
"Yeah. I'll wait here for you, by the jewelry and stuff." I gave a nod and a small smile as Dr.Iplier walked off towards the bathrooms.
It was my time of waiting. I turned around and examined some rings with differant gemstones in them, amethyst, ruby, aquamarine, so many pretty rings. I especially liked the sapphire ring.
"I see you're interesting in the rings. I can show you more..." I heard a voice say behind me. A towel of some sort of fowl smelling odor was wrapped around my mouth and everything went black.
Dr.Iplier's POV
When I came back I saw the basket of stuff but Henrick was no where to be seen. I looked around.
"You here, Henrick?" I called out, but no answer was to be returned. I was starting to panic, what happened to him?
Where did he go?
