The heart & mind are both important factors that the human body needs. They both work 24/7, not just helping our bodies function but to also help us understand the world around us. For example, our mind we use it to think and create things. It is one of the body's greatest tools but it can also be one of the body's weakness. Sometimes our minds can make us over think things, where as the simplest thing can be solved without thinking much. If that occurs than our hearts soon start to become affected as well; this could lead to becoming emotional.
As mentioned previously in one of the chapters (probably) the human mind & heart should be trained in order to strengthen it, for life's hurdles. Life experiences are the best way to strengthen these two human factors; especially when these experiences are the feeling of negativity. Now that may sound odd to say since negative experiences can do some harm to a human but when you think about logically, in life which experiences gives you the most experience? The good ones that make us happy or the bad ones that shape us?
If you've noticed it seems though as the bad experiences tend to shape us by the way we handle these bad experiences. We can either let them shape us or we can CHOOSE to develop from it.
We all go through love, loss, sadness, failure, loneliness, etc. Although these 5 are the most common that I've witnessed throughout my lifetime so far, even I've experience these during my teen years. For everything I did wrong or be accosted for not meeting expectations. As for love which can the heart's greatest strength and weakness, I as well went through it, I couldn't win over the heart of someone and by the time I started high school she already had a boyfriend. Now I will not lie I was heart broken when I discovered it with my own eyes but you know what I did?
I took those negative experiences/feelings and I pushed forward with my life; I didn't let it shape me, I CHOOSE to shape from it in a positive way, I focused on my schoolwork and started earning high grades sometimes ranking up a GPA between 3.0 - 4.0.
Now some might say, it's not easy for everyone to over these negative experiences/feelings but remember;
"Can't wish away the dismal days,
Can't bring back what is gone,
Won't waste more tears on yesterday-years,
Instead, we'll carry on;We'll win, for sure, we will endure
And though our goal is far,
We'll be the ones to touch the sun
Triumph will be ours.""It's not destiny,
It would be a great mistake to think so,
Every choice is ours and ours alone;This doesn't open up like fate
This is the future we create
And we're powered by
Every year that's dried."(RWBY Volume 5 song: The triumph)
