The group of for walked into SaddleUp Middle. Ember, wearing a black canine appearing mask, wearing a dark blue dress, a small grey wolf tail coming out the back. Her light brown hair gently tucked into a messy bun. Krista, wearing an orange dress, with a Cream bunny mask, followed by a matching tail. Her long, puffy hair was pulled to the side. Beside her was Ruby, She wore a feathered red bird mask, followed by a white dress, with a small pair of red wings. Her red hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail. Beside her, was Kiley. She diddn't care to go with the whole animal theme. She simply wore a black dress, a white and black feathered mask, and a black dress. Her dark brown hair was to short to do anything with. And last was Emerson, who had forgotten her mask in the car, almost tripping over her heels. She wore a yellow dress, followed by a Black and yellow mask, with her dark red hair up in a high ponytail. "Wait up you fricks!" She yelled as Kiley opened the door. "Okay, jeez." She said, letting go of the handle. Emerson finally caught up, her opening the door this time. The entrance to SaddleUp was quite fancy. A painted stairway had a image of a purple Clydesdale Horse, with on the sides of it saying "Saddle Up!" It had two stairways with a halls behind each, and a long hall where the Gym, auditorium, and cafeteria was, had a huge window. It was late, so the front lights were off. A small sign, pointing to the left stairway said. "Masquerade, 6-7th hall." Up the stairs, an archway of white, pink, purple, and blue balloons stood. Ruby raced up the stairs, immediately intrested by the array of light coming from the dim hall. The rest shrugged, walking up the stairs.
