the right guy at the wrong time

the day

So of course I woke up took a shower,brushed my teeth,and finished getting ready for school and walked out the door to leave. As soon as I left my drive way Alex had pulled up behind me and asked me the same question he's been asking me every single day "do you want a ride?" Of course I said yes cause I live almost 9 blocks away from the school which actually isn't that far but still not the point. When I got into the car he looked at me. which was usual except today he seemed to be looking at me with the biggest smile I have ever seen him have. And of course me being me I asked him what's wrong and of course him being him said that I looked really good today and I was like ok but before I could get a word out of me he speed off.

The car was full of silence except for his humming and that's how most of our rides went when he needed to tell me something.but like the good friend I am I didn't mention anything or at least I didn't mean to.

Next thing I know I'm asking him if what rae said was true

After that he said yes

I was in complete shock because I thought she was just messing with me bit I guess not

I then asked him "for how long?"

He was confused and asked me "how long what?"

So I repeated my question but with more words so he could understand

It took him a while to answer but pretty soon he did and my god if I wasn't shook before I am now

HE LITTERALLY SAID SINCE THE DAY WE MET

And my god I belive I was just about shook to the max by what he said so asked "so about nine years?" And he said "yeah" and trust me I've never seen him More silent than this. Which kind of shocked me since ever since I meet him he basically hasn't shut up so I was even more shook but of course to break our awkward silence I asked "do you hear that?"

And I'm back

We finally got to the school after what felt like forever and got off. When we got off the car we went to our normal spot where we waited for everybody else to get there. By the time everyone got there the had already went and opened the doors for us to go in and head to our first period. But unlike other groups of friends we went to our homeroom got our breakfast then went back to the band hall and ate. By the time we where done eating the bell was about to ring so we went and got our stuff and went back to our first periods to start class.

But today felt weird for some reason I mean I didn't feel sick or at least I didn't think so but then I started thinking about what Alex had told me then I new exactly why I felt the way I did
