Chapter 5

As soon I got to my house i ran up the stairs and into my room. Now all i have to do is get ready for my date with Jaeden but what really making me nervous is I have to be ready for Me and Johnny's Friendiversery. Which i'm really nervous, anxious, and confused because i have a date and i have plans with a friend that i knew for a long time.

I lay face down on my bed all i wish was some comfort so i can understand why the world hate me right now. That's when i heard a knock on my bedroom door. "Come in." i said. I heard the door creak then heard my oldest sister voice.

"Hey I saw you ran up the stairs earlier and was wondering if you was okay." My sister Maddie said.

I flipped over and look over to Maddie and said "Maddie what would you do if a guy asked you out on a date but then realized you have plans with a friend."

Maddie sat on my bed and said "well what I would do is explain to him that I have plans with a friend, and tell him can he reschedule the date."

I sat up and said "but Maddie you don't what know the guy I'm talking about."

Maddie straighten up and said "Okay, what's his name?"

I kinda feel nervous to tell Maddie but hey we always keeps each other secrets so whatever.

I took a deep breath and said "Jaeden. Jaeden Lieberher."

I saw Maddie mouth open wide and was just staring at and said "Kenzie!"

I rolled my eyes and said "What?"

"Don't recognize him you use to have a crush ever since we were on dance moms. And when I played in the same movie as him." She said.

I gasped and said "Now I remember. "But he never like me back at that time. He was always into you." I Said sadly.

"Well now he's into you." She said in a excited tone.

I squeezed Maddie into a huge hug. It tooled a couple of minutes to let go of her before she ran out of air. I then said "I need to get ready for my date."

"How bout your plans with Johnny?" Asked Maddie.

"It's okay i got it." I Said while I picked up my phone and dial Johnny's number.

Johnny: Kenzie?
Kenzie: *pretends cough* Johnny I can't go out with you tonight i really have a really tough cold.
Johnny: oh I'm sorry Kenz. You want me to stop by.
Kenzie: No. it's very contagious if you go near me you can get it real easily and die.
Johnny: Oh, I'm sorry hope you get well, I'll guess I have to go to the concert by myself. See you at school.
Kenzie: bye Johnny. Thanks for understanding.

"Kenzie, I don't think it's right to lie to your best friend like that." Said Maddie.

"It's okay, he won't even know a thing." I Said while I put a few touches on my makeup. I walked over to the mirror and said "Now. Time for my date with Jaeden.
