10 years later~ Claire

I packed the rest of my stuff up as I looked back at my beloved broken home. Hayes had an affair, I filed a divorce.

I quit my handful of jobs and went back to college to become a College perfessor for marine biology and graduated.

Josh has moved out of the country to London and met his now wife which he has 2 kids with.

Anything I did have, I didn't anymore, only the scars and bruises mentally and physically. I had so many opportunities and missed them all. The only thing I had left was this job, and I know I'll find some way to mess it up.

I got into my cab headed to the airport sighing as I told the man where to go. I paid him his $15 and tipped him an extra 5.

The airport was packed and filled me with anxiety. I felt a wave of relief though, as though, I had saved myself from something that was more then anyone knew.

I knew that if I was going to go anywhere it'd have to be away from here, away from Hayes. Maybe i could finally see Michigan or Ohio, although, just the name of Ohio is bland. Nebraska would be cool.

When I arrived I looked through countless locations and was fixated on Nebraska.

Clicking through the different places I finally found the perfect place.

Ordered my ticket got in and through security, after about 2 hours of waiting I was on my way to Omaha, Nebraska.
