I was the last one left. The rebellion had gone to far and now they were all dead. The fall of New York was in my hands. The blood of the people are on my hands. I can't live with myself any longer. I wish I could take it all back, the hatred, the rebel inside me. It is to late now, and it's all because of me.

"I am Elyssa Galloway and I am the founder of the rebellion." Cheering came from the crowd,"Please quiet down!" The shouting of my followers stopped. "Thank you. Now you all know that we will be going into Time Square in one week. So be prepared. We will come together in Time Square 6 AM sharp. Do not be late! Now, let's take down New York!" Loud cheering erupted for the people.

The government has never treated the poor people well, so we all decided that we would show them who's boss. I was the founder of this group, The Forgotten Ones. I will lead them into the battle.

1 week later, 6 AM

"Is this everyone?" I asked my partner.

"Yeah, as far as we know. It's 6 AM. time to start." He had a sly grin on his face.

"Let's get started." I scanned the crowd of people. Everyone listen up!" The crowd went silent at the sound of my voice, which made a small grin pull at my lips. "Thank you. Now it is time to get started. We will march up to the Empire State building and burst through the windows guns blazing, literally." As the crowd erupted in cheers an evil laughter escaped my lips. The crowd quieted down waiting for my next instructions. "Bomb squad ready?" Loud cheering came from a section in the crowd. "Snipers, and ground guns ready?" Loud cheering came from another section of the crowd. "Machetes, swords, and fighters ready?" The last section of the crowd erupted in cheering. "Let the rebellion commence!" We all screamed in excitment.

I mentally thanked all of the other rebel groups helping us across New York in this. To help us take down these worthless scum. I started to second guess myself, but quickly pushed away the thoughts. I can't give up now.

We approached the Empire State building only to be greeted by the army forces. Tanks, soldiers, everything terrible. My look of pride and joy was quickly washed away by horror and regret. We all came to a quick halt at the sign of my fist in the air.

"Retreat and no one gets hurt!" The man yelled from the front of the army forces.

"Never! We will go through with our rebellion, no matter the cost." I yelled at them with disgust.

"Fine have it your way!" He went back into the mix of his men. "Let the war begin!!"

Gun shots sounded and we all ran towards eachother. Guns were firing, bombs exploding and the ones that missed went to kill civilians. I heard screaming in houses and in the streets. I heard children in the streets, dying with their parents crying at their side.

I felt a strong weight come down on my back as I was pushed forward. I turned over to find my partner laying dead beside me. I cried when I saw his cold, dead eyes blankly staring up at me. Why did I have to do this? A sudden anger flashed over me. I slowly grabbed the machete out of his hand, standing up to face my enemy. I charged at the the other force screaming, with tears flowing out of my eyes.

I ran up to a man and swung at his stomach, luckily I hit him. I watched him crumple to the ground, blood gushing from the gash I made. An evil grin spread across my lips as I watched the light go out of his eyes.

As I ran deeper into the crowd a wisp of realization went across my mind. This was wrong, and I couldn't stop it, it had gone too far. I ran off as far as I could. I had to get away from them.

I ran into a shop on the street with the windows broken in. I ran to the back door, it lead to a basement, just what I was looking for. I ran down the stairs and luckily I found food and water. I had to wait until the battle was finished. My phone went off and I saw that all of the groups had been met by army forces. "No, no, no." I whispered to myself. I did this, this was my doing, their blood is on my hands.
