Story Time: Snow White (SoulXMaka)

"Please, Soul," Maka whined shoving the blue, ridiculous, looking prince costume in his hands, "please, it's for the little kids, you don't even have to say anything."

Soul looked at Maka with a disgusted expression looking at the costume, "it's not cool Maka..... so not cool.... It looks gay..."

Maka pleaded, "Soul, PLEASE!" She did hand motions, "you can't tell the story of the princess without a prince!"

Soul sighed folding the costume over his arm, "who's the princess and what story are you going to be telling?"

Maka sighed flicking his forehead, "don't be difficult." She smiled as she held up the blue and yellow dress, "I was going to have it be Patti since she has short hair and I can slip a black wig on her to make her look like Snow White, but she cancelled on me. So I don't know..."

Soul took the dress from her hands and looked at it and placed it out to see how it would look on Maka, "you can do it."

Maka looked at him in disbelief, "I'm the narrator, not the princess!"

Soul smirked handing her the dress, "you be the princess and I'll be the prince, or I won't do this at all."

Maka huffed puffing out her cheeks, "Soul, why can't you just be the prince! I'll get Tsubaki to be Snow White."

Soul shrugged, "if you're going to make me wear a stupid costume, you're going to do it too." Soul laughed a bit awkwardly, "plus she's taller than me and that wouldn't look right, considering the prince is always taller and stuff."

Maka rolled her eyes, "fine." Her eyebrow arched at his last statement, "how do you know about fairy tales?"

Soul looked at Maka in surprise, "uh... My mother, she used to read them to me...."

Maka laughed, "aw, that's adorable." She poked his cheek, "who was your favorite princess?"

Soul jerked away hissing, "don't touch me!"

Maka grinned, "you're blushing!" She smiled, "it's okay Soul, it's cute. You wanted a princess when were younger, how adorable."

Soul flicked her forehead, "shut up or I'm not going." She closed her mouth and tried to force back her laughter. Soul looked at her furrowing his eyebrows. "Where are we going to tell the story," Soul questioned looking down at the costume again.

"The library, we have to go now, we still need to change," Maka said as she grabbed Soul's free hand and dragged him out the door.

"Good, I don't have to worry about any cool people seeing me dressed like this," Soul said sighing in relief letting himself be dragged away by Maka.

At the library Maka and Soul changed into their costumes. "Soul," Maka said holding the wig out in her hand, "we have a problem...."

"What problem would that be," Soul asked buttoning up his costume's jacket.

She pouted, "I can't get the wig to fit with all my hair.... Snow White has black hair.... I can't be Snow White."

"Where's the red ribbon," Soul asked holding out his hand.

Maka laughed pulling it out from her jacket's pocket, "you know way too much about fairy tales to be a cool guy."
