I am truly so sorry for not updating sooner but I have a tendency of reading on Wattpad instead of writing. But the book is almost complete just one or two more chapters to go!

Also, do you like the photo of the galaxy at the top? I did it my self on my computer.

Lysandra POV

They had placed them in iron cells to hold off their magic. But for Lysandra, the champion had written Wyrdmarks around the cell to stop her from shifting her way out of here. That Champion. Something was similar about her, she knew that it bugged Aedion and Rowan as well, but they didn't say anything. The latter has barely been saying anything at all. Even when Cairn comes in to get something out of him, he never speaks.

Currently, Aedion and the winged female was in an argument. Strange thing that female. Her wings were not part of her original body, so they were shifted but Lysandra couldn't sense anything else about her that meant shifter. It seemed that the female was Other, Made. Her Fae features were even different from the Fae that Lysandra has seen.

Lysandra fingered her dark hair. She had shifted from Aelin's form once they were captured. It was no use to pretend after that announcement. "Come with us or Aelin will die" after that, she had faced questions from their allies. Ansel was furious; Lysandra thought she would kill the next person who got on her nerves. Luckily for them, Ansel was angry with Maeve for taking Aelin and has seemed to forget for now, that Lysandra and the others had kept it from her.

Lysandra glanced out of her cell at the wine-red haired woman. Who was currently enjoying the agreement between Aedion and the female, and to the cells next to her were Galan, Enda and Ilias slept in their respective cells. Men, even in a state of terror, they sleep.

Just then, Carin came barging in. Stopping the argument that had changed from Aedion promising her a better future to him almost getting a dagger up his arm. Or worse. And also stopping Ansel's entertainment.

"Lady!" he screeched, it reminded her of an owl.

"That is High of the Night Court to you, Carin." High Lady? Night Court? Where does this female come from?

She continued to listen to the conversation.

"...get the champion to deal with them"

After a few more exchanges, the High Lady leaves them with a smiling Carin.

"Lucky for you," he says "there are no creatures attacking us. No. what we have is something better. An audience with the Queen of Fae herself." And with that, he laughed to himself as he heading up the stairs.

They marched them chained through the corridors of Maeve's castle. The two females at the front and Carin bringing up the rear. Not to mention the two dozen guards surrounding them. After a few more twists and turns they arrived at a throne room. Dark floors, dark ceiling, dark throne and on it sat the Queen of Darkness herself.
