Chapter one

Mya's POV

~3 years ago~

"Mya just listen to me!" He shouts.

"No Harry! I can't deal with you being away all the time for this band! Just move on! We're over, I'm with Jackson now!" I yell back.

He just stares at me, with his mouth open the smallest bit, and the most horrified, and saddened look on his face.

~present day~

I'll be honest, to this day, the look on his face still haunts me. Regardless of the fact that he is part of the wold famous boyband, sometimes I wonder what things could've been like if I stayed with him.

Jackson and I lasted surprisingly long. However, he cheated on me, the day after he proposed. I did what was best for me and left him.

I was depressed for a few months, and almost hit rock bottom. But I picked myself up off the ground, and got some therapy. My older sister, a producer, helped me get into the acting business.

Which is why I'm here today. At Paramount studios, at my call back audition for the lead female part, in a soon to be major motion film.

"State you name and age please," the caster says.

"Mya Austin, 22 years old." I say with a smile.

"And who are you auditioning for?" She asks.

"Selena Heartily." I say.

She nods. "Whenever you're ready."

I take a breath and start tearing up.

"Andrew please, stay with me." I whisper, "You can't let her take you away, I won't let her take you away! Please try and think of it from my angle, try to think of how I'm feeling! I- I just can't loose you again." I say.

"And scene." I say to her.

I notice that her eyes have gotten a bit watery. She claps and and says, "Bravo!"

I smile wide in return.

She writes down something on her clipboard, then looks back up at me.

"We'll call you tomorrow if we decide anything, well done Mya." She says kindly.

I exit the room, and ignore all of the amateur actresses staring at me. I have a good feeling about this one.
