As soon as I regain my consciousness, I look up to see that girl from earlier. Oh yeah…... the Unicorn Lover. At least that is what her hat said. I remember she said her name was Cameron a few moments ago. Cameron begins to wave her hand over my face to check if I’m conscious. I blink a couple of times to signal that I’m alright. “Oh good you're awake.” Cameron says, “Let me give you a hand.” she says as she offers her hand out to help me up. Okay, I don't know whether to be thankful or afraid. I grab her hand and in an instant she lifts me up to my feet. Damn, she’s strong. Once on my feet I begin to examine her and from what I see her petite stature does not fit her tremendous amount of strength at all. Don’t get me wrong she may be short but, that might be because she’s like 5’5 compared to me being 5’11. I don’t usually expect a short and somewhat scrawny girl to have that much great amount of power. Then again you should never judge a book by its cover. She looks at me and shoots me a big smile “ Hey, I’m Cameron, I figure I might as well tell you my name again since you were pretty out of it.” she says to me. And who’s fault is that? She’s the reason why I so out of it in the first place. Instead of confronting her harshly about the situation, I decide to calmly discuss it in a mature manner. Besides, starting argument with this girl would be petty and irrelevant.
“Uh, Hi I’m John and might I ask why did you flip me over your shoulder just a few moments ago?” I politely ask. She glances at me for a brief moment and then smiles. “Oh that, yeah I have this thing about people touching me certain ways in which I don’t approve and therefore they have to suffer. Oh but, since I just met you, you only get to experience the bare minimum of my fury.” Cameron says. “Okay, note taken, um what exactly are you doing up here, I thought I saw you leave earlier with your little brother?” I ask. “Oh so you were watching me leave huh, well well, then what they say is true.” Cameron replies. I give her a serious and somewhat intimidating look. “And what is that supposed to mean?” I ask trying to add a sharp tone to my voice. “I’m just saying that what you did earlier is a sign of stalkerism or you were just weirded out by my crazy outfit and underestimated ability to save my brother.” Cameron stated in with a serious tone. Even though she sounded serious it was hard to believe it because she was smiling the entire time. “Uh no no, the second one is more accurate than the first.” I say to her. In the moment my answer sounded better in my head without even realizing that I just called her weird. “So you think I’m weird huh, You think just because I wear clothes that don’t match the season and love unicorns and have abilities that normal people would typically find as not possible for a girl like me?” she snaps at me. Cameron turns around with her back towards me not trying to hear my next response. Woah, why is she snapping at me when she’s the one who flipped me over and did all of those things that she said she did? “Well yes I do think you're weird for all of those things especially the one about the unicorn!” I snap back at her. “Unicorns are special and hold a special place in my heart, they bring happiness to this world and nothing more.” Cameron says. “ Well, then that makes you ten times more crazy if you think that A unicorns are real and B that this world actually has happiness in it.”Cameron shouts. Wow I can't believe that I’m arguing with a girl that has no business up here in the first place and were arguing about a unicorn. Next, the unsuspected happens. She turns around to face me and next thing I know I’m on the ground struggling in pain. Did she just punch me? It was so quick I didn’t see it coming. Next thing I know I see a figure over top of me, its Cameron. “You can call me crazy, but no one talks about my unicorns.” she tells me. After a few seconds my body, starts to lose its ability to move. For the moment I am completely paralyzed. Everything is turning faint. The everyday beauty of my secret spot is growing dark. My eyes become heavy as if I were balancing weights on them. Why is this happening to me? And with that last thought the world goes completely black.
