Chapter 4: The Forbidden Forest

Hercules's POV

I woke up and shook my head to clear my thoughts. I sat up to find myself in a cage. Where am I?

I looked around and spotted a man dressed in tribal clothes with a skull mask on. He looked at me and grinned evilly.

"I am Tzekel-Kan. Speaker of the gods and high priest of El Dorado." he said approaching my cage.

"Where?" I asked.

"El Dorado? The city of gold? Doesn't ring a bell?" he asked.

I shook my head. I then tried to break through the cage bars. It wouldn't work.

"Nice try. It won't work. They're made of celestial bronze, indestructible to your godly strength." (A/N comment if you know what celestial bronze is and what fandom its from!) The evil looking man said.

"My what?" I asked confused.

"Where am I?" a voice next to me said. I looked around the dark cage to see Mavis slowly rising up.

"Mavis! Everyone has been wondering where you've been." I said.

"Oh, they'll be wondering where you are too. And soon two more children." the evil man chuckled.

"What do you want with us?" Mavis said bitterly.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out." he said he then walked away and laughed.

Merida's POV

I stood next to my bed grumbling. Darn mother. Why do I need to go to these balls. I was alone in the dormitory trying to pick out a dress.

I groaned in defeat. "I don't know what to wear! I'm not up to date in fashion!"

I then heard a couple footsteps from the other side of the room.

"Who's there?" I called.

I heard a few more. "Hello? Mulan? Is that you?"

I suddenly heard laughter and a hand clamped over my mouth and everything went black.

Mulan's POV

I laughed as I read my latest letter from my friend, Mushu. I then heard a voice upstairs call my name. It sounded like Merida.

I rushed up the stairs to see what she needed. I was almost there when I heard a scream. I ran up the steps and burst into the room. I burst in just as I heard a little clink on the floor. I looked to see Merida's wand on the ground.

I gasped and ran to go tell North.

Hey guys! Sorry I bounced between so many POVs. If you guys don't know who Tzekel-Kan is, he's the evil sacrifice guy from Road to El Dorado. Yeah, and sorry this chapters also short. But I try to update as much as I can unlike some authors. *cough* brylinc *cough*. Nah, I'm just kidding, she's pretty cool. In fact, she's so cool you should check out her stuff.
