Y/N POV
I'm in a relationship with my high school sweetheart and we're in love.. well that's what I thought till he came home with other women.
I was cooking dinner for Taehyung and I but was interrupted by him walking into the home that we shared with another woman. "Let's bring this up to the bedroom." He whispered into the woman's ear and drunkenly walked them into our shared bedroom. I gripped the counter and let the warm tears stream down my face. "Am I not good enough..?" The question I always asked myself. I slowly went upstairs to the guest bedroom, where I've been sleeping while he was with those women. I slowly packed my things and changed into more conservative clothing. I carried the duffel bag full of my items down to the living room and looked at the promise ring he gave me.
~Flashback~
"I promise to care for you, I promise to cherish you, and I promise to put a wedding ring on this finger but for now I'll put this promise ring on it, if you accept it." Taehyung said looking at me lovingly. I had started crying and couldn't make out words but just nodded but that was the only answer he needed before picking me up in his arms and engulfing me in his embrace.
~End of Flashback~
I took the ring off and set it down on the kitchen counter and wrote him a note,
"Dear Taehyung, you're probably wondering where I am, but that doesn't concern you anymore. I have willingly left you and this place I used to call home. There's food in the fridge for you and your woman. I hope you find the person you love because I know that I will never find someone who loved me as much as you did.
~Sincerely Y/N."
I set the ring along with my home key on top of the note and headed out. I walked to the Bangtan Dorm and trudged my way to the entrance. Before I could even knock, Jungkook opened the door, "Come in Noona." I smiled wearily and walked inside. Jungkook closed the door and ran to my side helping me walk to his room. He sat me down on his bed and looked at me, "Another woman?" I nodded and slowly let the tears flow.
Jungkook POV
"Noona, don't cry please.." I wrapped her in my arms and rocked us back and forth. Her breathing was slowing down and she eventually fell asleep in my arms. I laid her down on my bed and pulled the blanket over her. "You're so beautiful.." I brushed a strand out of her face and admired her. She started to stir in her sleep and woke up, "Jungkook..?" I blushed and rubbed the nape of my neck, "Y-Yes Noona..?" She sat up and looked me in the eyes and whispered, "I love you.."
Y/N POV
"I don't know why but the feelings I've had for you have always been there just my love for Taehyung was stronger but now that's he's gone, I can embrace my love for you Jungkook.." I whispered and looked at him nervously. "I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that yet. It's too soon-" Before I could finish my sentence, Jungkook smashed his lips on mine and kissed me passionately. "I love you Y/N, be mine.." He whispered against my lips. His scent was intoxicating and I couldn't resist and whispered, "Yes.." He smiled and brought me in for another kiss. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "I love you so much Y/N.." I smiled and kissed his cheek.
Jungkook POV
I put my face in the crook of her neck and planted small kisses on her jawline. "J-Jungkook.." She pulled my hair and closed her eyes tightly. I smiled and kissed her cheek. "Don't worry jagi, we won't do anything till you're ready.." She sighed and nodded slowly. I laid her down on the bed and hovered over her, "J-Jungkook..?" I smiled and lowered myself to kiss her forehead. "I love you Y/N, let's sleep." I laid down next to her and pulled her closer to me. She wrapped her arm around my waist and rested her head on my chest. "I love you Y/N, never forget that okay..?" I whispered while rubbing her back. She nodded and whispered, "Thank you Jungkook, I love you too.." I pulled the blanket over us and we both fell asleep.
The Next Day
I pulled Y/N closer to me and kissed her head, "Jungkook, I love you.." I looked down to see her smiling at me. "I love you more Noona.." I sat up and pulled her up with me. I picked her up and put her on my back and ran down to the kitchen.
Y/N POV
"YAHH!" I screamed while Jungkook carried me down to the kitchen. He dropped me on the couch and smiled. He walked to the kitchen and stopped midway. "Get out." I heard him say angrily. I got up and walked over to him, "Jungkook, what's wrong..?" I rubbed his back and whispered. He turned around and blocked my view, "Go back to the room, I'll bring food up to you." I pouted and looked at him. "What's wrong..?" He looked at me pleadingly, "Please jagi.." I pouted and nodded slowly. I slowly walked up the stairs and turned around to see Jungkook talking to Taehyung. "She doesn't want to see you Hyung. Get out." He pushed Taehyung and was getting angrier. I ran down the stairs and jumped in front of Jungkook, "Come on, we can go out and eat." I held his hand and rubbed it softly. "Please jagi..?" He slightly blushed at the name and nodded. He put his hand on my back and led me back to his room. While we were walking, I took a glance at Taehyung and he looked angry at me. Jungkook opened the door for me and when I walked in, he slammed me against the door and blocked me in. "Him or me Y/N, choose. Him or me." He looked at me with teary eyes, pleading. I put my hand on his cheek and whispered, "You, it will always be you.." He let his tears fall and rested his head in the crook of my neck and sobbed. He wrapped his arms around me and I wrapped my arms around him and rubbed his back. "Only you Jeon Jeongguk. He made that mistake and you fixed it. Don't cry Kookie.." I made him look at me and wiped his tears. He sniffed and pouted, "But you have been dating for so long, what if we can't put up with that-" I couldn't let him put himself down so I kissed him and he responded.
Jungkook POV
I couldn't stop thinking about Y/N's relationship with Taehyung. They've been together since high school and now we're together. How can I put up with that? I just kept blurting out my doubts till I felt something warm on my lips. I closed my eyes and then opened them to look at Y/N. "Only you Jungkook, I choose you.." I smiled and hugged her tightly. I walked to my nightstand and grabbed a gift I had gotten for Y/N. I looked at her and smiled, "Noona, if you accept this, then I'll keep this promise. I promise to stay loyal to you. I promise to only have my eyes on you and I promise to love you for the rest of my life and longer. So please Y/N, do you accept this promise ring from me..?" I slowly started crying and whispered, "Yes Jungkook.." He smiled, picked me up and spun me around. "You and only you make me happy Jungkook.."
