Chapter One

Waking up on a cold morning knowing that winter break was over had to be the worst feeling ever. I had to go back to the hell called school. I laid in bed starring up at my ceiling listening to my alarm clock play some Arctic Monkey song loudly. Suddenly I felt something move beside me. It latched itself around my waist and I started to scream. I slapped the thing.
“What the hell?!” I recognized the masculine voice.
“Matty? What are you doing in my bed? How’d you even get in? Not the window again, I hope. I have school today,” I exclaimed, pressing my lips to my boyfriend’s. I can’t believe I slapped him, but it’s his own fault for sneaking into my room.
“Through the window,” He laughed. “School’s for losers. You should hang out with me today.” He deepened the kiss.
Matty graduated high school last year and unfortunately I’m a year younger than him so I’m still stuck there. I'm not exactly well liked at Green View High and honestly I have no clue why. The so-called "Popular" people seem to always come up with disturbing rumors about me. According to Victoria McPreppyPants, in my spare time I strip for homeless men? Like what? So I was absolutely surprised when Matty, the hot senior in AP Biology, started talking to me when the teacher placed us next to each other. We instantly clicked and life has been pretty perfect, since then.
“I can’t Matty. But I’d love it if you dropped me off today.” I ran my fingers through his curly blonde hair and placed a light kiss on his forehead.
I stood up and went into my bathroom. I threw my hair up into a messy bun, brushed my teeth, and slapped on some makeup. I went back in my room and found Matty still lying in my bed, grinning at me lazily. I put on a simple blue oversized sweater, black leggings, and my new combat boots.
“Well someone looks gorgeous today,” Matty smirked, slapping my ass. I rolled my eyes and flicked him on the nose.
“Can you grab my backpack for me?”
“Yeah. You want to grab some coffee and donuts on the way, love?”
“You know me too well.” I pecked his lips. I absolutely loved donuts. Like I’d trade my little brother for a box of donut kind of love. My mom probably wouldn’t let me do that though. She’d miss the little booger.
We silently went down the stairs and out the door, making sure my parents didn’t wake up. Matty slept over a lot. So often that it was surprising my parents haven’t found out about it yet. They are so oblivious that it’s not even funny. “I parked down the road a little ways.”
“Okay let’s hurry up. I want my chocolate sprinkled donut!” I grabbed his arm and pulled him along.
As we were walking, Matty kept sneaking nervous glances at me from the corner of his eye. Weird Matty, weird. “What’s the matter with you, boob?”
He glanced down at me and mumbled, “I might have forgot to mention that we have to take my step brother to school.”
"Umm..What? Since when do you have a step-brother?”
