"Okay, okay. Guys hurry up and take your seats", I said as Aiyu and I entered the room next morning. Just like yesterday, all the desks were in different places. "Oh, they showed up", I heard one of them say, Kurosawa Daiki I believe, to Sho. After last night, we already had all their names memorized. "So they did", Sho said in disinterest. "Why do we gotta listen you guys !?", Suzuki Haru had barked, "As you idiots know, we don't recognize you guys as our "teachers"." "Then don't", I replied bluntly, turning to the chalk board and began to write, "If I remember correctly, we didn't say anything about you idiots acknowledge us as your "teachers"." Aiyu, who was walking around the class handing out a piece of paper, came back up to the front and started talking. "The papers that I just handed out", she said, "On it, please write whatever you'd like. What you'd like to do in the future... What your dream is... Feel free." "Is she kidding ?", Ueda Kei said, "Like hell we'd do something as stupid as this." "But you know", I replied, "You'd look stupider with not even knowing how to write." "What did you say you B*tch !??", he shouted. I turned around and looked at him directly. "You heard me", I replied, "All you have to do it write." "Don't look down on us ! You B*tch !", Yoshida Kou barked, "Don't you know what we could do ?" "Not at all", I replied, facing back to the board, "Something like that... who knows." "Oi, don't you know who we are !?", Kei hissed, standing up from his seat and walking up to me. "Clearly", I replied, not even turning to face him. Aiyu, who was beside me, stood in his way. "We do not wish to cause trouble", she said, "But if needed, then it is best." Kei grunted in irritation and walked back to his seat, kicking whatever was close. "Lyra", she then said, turning to me, "We need to focus." I sighed and stopped writing. "Yeah", I muttered softly. Turning back to the class, I couldn't help but look at them with a desolate look. "Look, this is all you have to do", I said, "After that, feel free to do whatever you'd like." They all went back to talking to each other afterwords, not one even picking up a pencil to write. Aiyu and I took a seat in the nearby empty student desks and pulled out the name of students in the class. "Are you marking those who are and aren't here ?", Aiyu asked. I nodded and began marking. There was no need to ask who was who, since we already knew who they were.
"Now that I think about it", I heard Haru say to his group, "Just how old do you think those idiots are ?" "I'd say they're probably in JR high", Kou replied, grinning, "How about you Sho ? Jun ?" I didn't look, but I could feel them looking our way. "Probably", Yukimura Sho replied, "Since they're both short." "Who knows", Yamada Jun replied, "They look like they're around the same age as us." "You think so ?", Daiki replied, "I guess they kinda do." "Hey let's bet", Tanaka Makoto said, "Let's see who's right." "Oi, you idiots over there !", Makoto shouted, "How old are you guys ?" "Yeah, yeah !", Kou added, "Aren't you both a lil too young to be teachers ?" "Did you just notice ?", I replied, shuffling through some papers, "Aren't you all a little too old to be asking such obvious questions ?" "Why you", I heard Kou say in a hostile tone, "Aren't you guys scared ? I mean, you guys are in a class full of guys." Aiyu looked up at him and pointed at the dent wall from before. "Eh, but wouldn't it be scarier to get like that ?", she asked. They all turned to each other and looked discouraged. "Oi, you didn't answer the question", Sho said in a nonchalant tone, "You avoided it." I turned to face him, ready to throw whatever was around me. "It's classified information", Aiyu replied, smiling mysteriously. She then turned to me still smiling. "Also, Lyra", she said, "Did you know that we'll be gone for a day next week ?" "Really ?", I replied, almost excited, "When ? What day ?" "Don't know", she replied, "Oshiro-sensei hasn't said anything about the day yet." "Aww, what a shame", I sighed. That was when something popped into my head. "Oi, you guys", I said while turning to the class, "You guys haven't gotten into any fights lately... right ?" "What the hell ?", Kei said, "Why do you care ?" "Because, if you guys get into trouble, we get dragged into it as well", Aiyu replied, "So, as of now, its best to avoid any fighting." "What if we don't listen ?", Jun asked, in a haughty tone, "What would you guys do anyways ? I bet you guys would just run away the moment you saw us fighting." "I wonder about that", I replied, closing the book infront of me and standing up, "Class is now over. Feel free to leave." Just as I was saying this, the bell rang, and they all began to leave for the day. "Come on Aiyu", I said as I gathered my things, "Let's leave early today." She nodded her head and gathered all her things. As the both of us were leaving, the group that followed after us was none other that Sho and Jun's group of idiots. "You guys are leaving early ?", Daiki said as they noticed, "Weird. I thought you'd stay until the next day." I turned around and swung my folder at him. I missed him because he dodged, but it wasn't my intention to hit him anyways. "Hey watch what your doing !", he barked. "Ah, sorry", I replied in the laziest and unsorry tone, "My hand slipped." I grinned, but he didn't look amused. "I'm going to get you one day", I heard him say, before we left.
"So when did Oshiro-sensei tell you that we'd be gone one day next week ?", I asked as we walked through the busy streets. "I think it was right around yesterday", she replied, "When you were busy doing something else." "I see", I mumbled. The both of us were still in our Shirokin Gakuen Uniform, walking through. I'm pretty sure that every single time we'd walk by, not one of the other students from the other schools would know what school we're from. But it was alright. We were originally students from Akiyama Gakuen to begin with. While I was thinking about all this, there was one point where Aiyu stopped me. "Ah, Lyra", she said, dragging me to the side, "Isn't that... Kei and Daiki ?" She pointed off at where this group of guys were standing. Standing in the admist of the group, it was Kei and Daiki. "Geez", I muttered, "What are those idiots doing ?" "Should we follow them ?", Aiyu asked as we watched them. "Hmm....", I mumbled. We were too far to hear what they were talking about, but I'm sure it was something bad. Both Daiki and Kei looked hesitant, but acted like they were fine. "Not now", I replied as we watched them all leave, "But maybe.. we'll do some studying tomorrow." The both of us came out of hiding and sighed. "But seriously, what are they getting themselves into ?" "Come on Lyra", Aiyu said, tugging on my sleeve, "Let's go home for today." I looked at her and nodded. What those two were doing, and what was going to happen. I had a bad feeling about it all. "Oh yeah", I remembered, "Aiyu, tomorrow, maybe we should wear something that we can run in ?" "What ?", she replied, "For tomorrow ?" I nodded. "Eh, I guess we should", she replied, "Maybe."
