*Copeland's POV*

"Copeland, can you please stop stalling?! You don't want to be late for school!" my mom shouted from downstairs. I literally couldn't find any outfit to wear. Alli was sitting on my bed waiting for me to get dressed. She comes over every morning to my house before she goes to school. Now it's time for me to ride along with her. I told my parents straight up that I am not taking the bus. I don't care how empty it is. I'm not riding on that bacteria-infested shit to school.

"So I heard Tony is coming by to wish us good luck on our first day as seniors, Cope. But I think he said he can only be a minute because he has guitar practice on a new song the band is writing," Alli announced coming to my interest.

"Really?!" My stomach fluttered as I heard the name Tony from Alli's mouth. "A minute is better than nothing." I pulled my drawers open and found my cute pink top covered in glitter. "Ah, this is a good one."

"Dude, you should wear those black skinnies that Jesse got you the other day."

"Good thinking," I said pointing up my finger. I heard a knock at the door.

"Can I come in?" my dad asked. Great, he's probably going to give me a lecture on how this is my first year being in a public school and there's rules. Duh, I fucking know that! "I want to see you guys before you leave."

"Yeah, dad just come in," I groaned.

"Hi, Kellin!" Alli yelled waving her hand back and forth. Yeah, she's a fan of him too. Great, I told her not to fan girl over him when I'm around. She's allowed to call him Kellin and not Mr. Quinn.

"Hey, Alli, how's it going?"

"Great, how about yourself?"

"Awesome as usual."

Dad, can you like NOT steal my friend?!

"Okay, dad, that's enough. You do have your own friends, you know. Loads of them. And don't forget the millions of fans that won't leave you alone on your twitter everyday."

"Okay, Copeland, don't worry. I'm not taking Alli away from you. I'm just trying to have a conversation."

"Well you can have one after I change and we go downstairs."

"Alright, see you guys in a little bit," my dad said turning to walk out the door.

I got dressed and went downstairs with Alli. My dad wasn't kidding about having a conversation. He really wanted to talk.

I sat down on the stool waiting for my mom to finish breakfast. She was a pretty cool mom. I just had to ask, "Hey, mom?"

"Yeah, baby, what is it?"

I asked her, "Is high school really as it is in the movies?"

"No no, not at all! That's all a lie. Everything about it."

I took a deep breath. "Phew, good. Because most of it looks really trashy and unrealistic." My mom placed my plate down in front of me and poured me a fresh glass of orange juice, or as Jaime would joke, Jugo de Naranja. Yay, just how I like it. Scrambled eggs with one hash brown and a piece of bacon that was extra crispy. Yes, I am quite the bacon fan. I ate my breakfast real slow because we still had an hour before school started. I sort of forced Alli to tell my counselor that I demand every single class she has for the first semester and then I'll be on my own second semester with only one class with her.

The doorbell rang. I hope it's who I think it is. The door flung open. Oh, never mind, it's just Jesse and Gabe. "Hey guys," I groaned not too happy with the result. I see Jesse every day. There literally isn't a day I don't see him. This fucker is always over. Doesn't he have a life? He's married now! Jesse proposed to his girlfriend on the last day of Warped Tour last year. It was the cutest thing ever, and obviously I couldn't go *cough*dad*cough*...so I asked Justin Van Hook to record it from the side of the stage. I congratulated them when they arrived home that day.
