Athena's POV:

The worst to wake up to is an alarm clock...especially if the day before you had a day off. I looked at my phone.

6 AM

I groan. Summer is still sleeping. She's curled up against me. I smile and allow myself to enjoy it a little longer. Slowly my eyes start to close until I fade to sleep again. After ten minutes I'm awoken by another alarm. This always happens so I have like five alarms for mornings. I sigh. Time to get up and ready. I would go to the gym this morning with Allia, then we'd grab lunch and get to the office. I grab a sportsbag and put in a suit and stuff to shower. When I'm done I walk to my wardrobe and take out a Nike top, leggings and shoes. I walk in to the bathroom and brush my teeth as well as my hair. When I'm done Summer is still asleep. I decide to go downstairs and make us breakfast and some coffee. I take my bag and leave the room.

Summer's POV:

I wake up to an empty bed.

'Where did she go?' I wonder.

I don't hear the shower so she isn't in the bathroom. I decide to get up and look for her. When I'm halfway on the stairs the amazing smell of bacon and eggs hits my nose. It's only then I notice how hungry I am. I might have an idea of where she is. As I get closer to the kitchen I can hear the bacon sizzle in the pan. I can also hear a soft voice singing. I stand in the opening and see Athena making breakfast. I enjoy the rare view. Usually I make it because she's to busy hurrying to work. I can see Athena is slowly swaying to her own singing.

[The song Athena is singing]

As she turns around to put the pan on the table, she sees me and immediately stops. Right before she turns her head away I can see her cheeks become a slight red tone. I laugh and hug her from behind.

"Don't hide. That was beautiful..." I say.

She doesn't respond but I hear a small chuckle escape her lips. I let go and she puts the plates on the table, while I lay cutlery.

"What do you wanna drink?" Athena asks.

"Water." Is my simple response.

She nods and fills two glasses with water. We sit down at the table and start to eat.

"Anything special today?" I ask.

Athena looks up with confusion etched on her face.

"Uhm... No... Why?"

"I don't know you never make breakfast on the morning." I chuckle.

"I'm wondering at what I deserved it."

"Just at being you." She winks. "No, you were still sleeping and I wanted to let you enjoy it for as long as it lasted."

I smile at her. She looks down at her food again. Her brown chocolate curls fall in front of her face. She swipes them out off the way, taking another bite.

"Why're you wearing sports clothes?" I notice.

She looks down at herself.

"Oh, I'm going to the gym with Allia before going to work."

I mouth an 'ah' in understanding. She glances at her watch.

"Seems like I gotta go or I'll be late."
