"Right Taehyung, now that Ae ra is asleep, the three of us have something to ask you." Jimin said. "We always did not find the right time to ask you questions that we are eagerly wanting to ask you. Now, it's the perfect time."
Taehyung nods and scratches his forehead. "Uh what is it?"
"How on earth did you get a child out of nowhere? You did not get someone pregnant did you?" Jimin sternly asks, tapping his fingers on the coffee table waiting for Taehyung to give an answer.
"I did not get anyone pregnant ok jimin! I found Ae ra under a bridge. She is such a poor thing, you know that? When I first took her in, it was shocking to see how thin she looked. But now, gradually, she's getting chubbier and healthier. This makes me feel successful as a kind samaritan. Ae ra has no parents. I just want to give her the love she deserves and needs after a few years of not being able to feel what it's like to be loved by a kin. And this, this makes me feel like a successful father. I don't care if you suggest me to put Ae ra for adoption care, you hear me? She's all I ever want to take care of." Taehyung stands up, holding in the tears threatening to fall.
"Right. We totally understand Taehyung.. but are you financially stable to be able to take care of her at this moment? Don't tell me you are because everyone knows you're not. That one job salary is not enough. It's better to put her for adoption." Hoseok looks at Taehyung.
"I'll figure the whole money thing out. Don't worry. I will take care of her. It's my duty as a father. I will never put her for adoption. She makes me so happy and content everyday. Why would I put my gem for adoption? I swear, I will never." Taehyung says.
"Hyung, I can help you take care of Ae ra every time you need to work... she's a bundle of joy anyway..." Jungkook says softly. He has a soft spot for Ae ra. He also wouldn't agree to put Ae ra up for adoption.
"Please I hope that none of this will be mentioned in front of Ae ra. Just take your leave now. And thank you Jungkook." Taehyung opens the door for the trio to leave.
Taehyung runs upstairs and tiptoes to Ae ra's bed where she is sleeping soundly. Taehyung runs his fingers through Ae ra's hair softly. "Ae ra ah, i love you and also please know that I won't ever put you up for adoption..."
Taehyung returns to his bed. Little did he know that Ae ra knew everything. Ae ra toss herself around, back facing Taehyung. She lets her happy tears fall freely before whispering, "I love you too."
+ idk but I teared up writing this chapter.. I'm just soft as heck for things like this— parent and child interaction idk it just makes me soft and I wanna cry.
