'The love for God is love for all,

We will immolate the humanity for the fireball,

Slay the cowards and cherish the valiant,

We shall serve Eterna till we give up the soul,

Till we give up the soul.

All hail Eterna!'

'All hail Eterna!'

The crowd bellowed out with passion as their leader raised the invaluable ball of Eterna. The bright glow of the fire illuminated the whole room. People tried their level best to catch a glimpse of their goddess's invaluable antiquity left behind billions of years ago. Numerous stampedes and suffocation did not flicker their hopes of having a better tomorrow. With joined hands they carefully captured the image of the fireball in their minds so that they could retain it their memory forever.

The leader slowly lowered the ball and placed it back on the huge gold Calyx which cradled it perfectly. The ground beneath the Calyx started sinking into the Earth. The crowd immediately moved forward to catch a final glimpse of the Calyx and cried with excitement till it completely disappeared beneath the ground. Everyone went on murmuring about the beauty of the Calyx and their desire to see it again.

Suddenly, the crowd felt silent as a loud beat of drum reverberated across the hall. All the attentions were focused on the podium, where their glorious leader stood.

'Billions of years ago, when Goddess Eterna graced the universe with her presence, she blessed this world with the kingdom of Ignius. She nourished it with life and made her daughter ,Goddess Fyria, the guardian of Ignius. This ball of eternity, is what, is giving strength to all the Igneos, to overcome all the obstacles and work hand in had to make Ignius, a paradise.

My dear citizens, I am extremely delighted to share this news.  Today, I, Estenn, son of  King Astadem and Queen Harjeena, pronounce my daughter, princess Agata, to be the  next ruler of Ignius!'

The crowd bellowed out in joy. They screamed as their King held up the baby girl.

'All hail Eterna!' they chanted repeatedly out of joy as their heart swelled up with pride as they caught a glimpse of their future Empress.

Their happiness soon turned into panic as the ground beneath them started cracking. Everyone started running for their life as the cracks opened up to a dark abyss. People started falling into it and the chaos worsened. The king handed the little princess to the nursemaid and asked them to leave as soon as they can. The army started evacuating people out of the cave.

The king looked around himself with a panicked expression but his eyes froze on the spot where the nursemaid was standing with the princess. His eyes widened  with shock 'NO! ' he screamed at the top of his voice and tried to reach out to them. But the never ending chasm between them prevented him to reach. The nursemaid had a stoic expression as she took a step forward towards the abyss.

'Sienna NO!' he pleaded with his arms folded , but the royal nursemaid turned a deaf ear to his pleads and took another step towards the abyss.

'I'm begging you...please don't take her away from me!' he was on his knees as tears rolled down his cheeks. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

'All hail Eterna!' she said in a monotone and jumped into the dark abyss, with the child.

'NOOOOOO!'

-----

I opened my eyes and took a deep breath. I found myself in a barely illuminated room with strange tubes connected to my wrist. I was sweating profusely and was shaky.

'Evangeline!' I saw Luna rush into the room. I squeezed my eyes shut as a sharp pain shot through my head. I massaged my temples and lead out a groan.

'Evane...are you okay?' she put her hand on my shoulder and questioned worriedly.

'Where am I?' I asked her looking around me. A faint blue light barely illuminated the room. Various kind of shiny machines covered the room and a large hollow column was above me. Various tubes connecting to my wrists and legs made its way into a large metal cylinder.

'You are in the medical unit.' she replied.

'H-how is Senyo doing?' I asked, referring to Senyo. Her face fell as soon as I uttered her name. She immediately concealed her pained expression with a tight lipped smile and said 'She is fine dear....why don't you take rest? I should call the doctor' she hurriedly stormed out of the room leaving me all alone in the mess I was.

I don't know why I felt bad for her, even though she was the one who started everything. I pinched the bridge of my nose leading out a frustrated groan. I was having an excruciating pain in my head.

Suddenly my mind drifted off to the dream I had. I never had such dream, ever in my life. It was strange yet seemed quite familiar to me.  The man, the nursemaid and everything else was...kind of familiar.

Does it have anything to do with my past?

I was snapped back to reality by a clearing of throat.

'Miss Evangeline....how are you doing?'

It was a lean middle aged man wearing a what it seemed like a blue apron, due to the lack of luminosity. He was holding a large 'transmitter' which emitted a holographic pages scribbled with some wacky symbols.

Noticing my perplexity, he gave a warm smile and said 'Don't worry Miss Evangeline, I am your doctor....Now tell me how do you feel?'

'I-I am fine except the pain in my heads....It is excruciating' I told him truthfully.

'It's alright Miss Evangeline..it will subside eventually.. it is just a side effect' he shrugged writing something with his fingers on the holograph.

'What happened to me?' I questioned, trying to sit.

'Oh don't! You are still weak' he said pushing me gently back to the bed.

'Well?' I was growing impatient.

' You had a panic attack but don't worry you are absolutely fine now...You just need proper food and nutrition. You will regain your health very soon'

I just nodded my head looking down. Millions of questions were running through my mind but I kept my curiosity in bay. 'I will ask the nurse to get you some food...'

He was just about to leave when I called 'Doctor...'

He looked back with a puzzled look and said 'Yes?'

I looked down fidgeting, and stuttered 'Umm..H-How is Senyo doing?'

He looked taken aback for a moment but plastered his expression with a assuring smile and said 'You don't need to stress yourself Evangeline..Everything will be fine'

Now I was sure that something has happened. Something big and something bad.

'I want to know...please' I pleaded with my eyes but he avoided my gaze and said 'I-I should get going'

I led out a sigh with a heavy heart and laid back helplessly.

I fluttered my eyes open as I felt a poke on my legs. I looked up to find a woman taking out the tubes from my legs.

'Who are you?' I asked. She didn't look at me and continued her work. Assuming that she was the nurse, I said 'Take out the tubes from my hands first, it feels really uncomfortable' but again she ignored me and continued taking out tubes from my other leg. I was not able to see her face due to the large hood she was wearing.

'Are you deaf! I think I said something!' I snapped this time making her stop.

There was eerie silence in the room. She swiftly looked up making my eyes go wide.

'Senyo?'

The next thing I knew, she clutched my neck with her iron grip making me gasp for breath.

'You are so dead sister '
