Hidden

We come to a stop. None of us can go any further. We stop and rest for a minute than walk to this motel to use the pay phone.
"I'm gonna call the police and tell them were the missing kids okay?" Said the boy
" Go ahead" I replied
"Hello, yes. Yes. We are the missing children and we've escaped. Okay." He said into the phone. Then turned to us and said " they'll be here shortly. Just sit here and rest. " he said.
We wait for awhile.
We all start to fall asleep. I hear a noise. The cops? It is! I start walking people up. There's an ambulance. we're taken back to the police station.

When we get there, there's a bunch of people there. I see my mom and brother and run to them. We hug for what feels like forever. I wish we could have stayed like that forever. But then I notice my dad in the corner with his new wife and kid staring at us. I walk over.
"Oh my god! Thank goodness your alright!" Said my dad.
" Why do you care? " I ask "you left us!"
He starts to say something but I don't want to hear it. I walk back to my mom and she puts her arm around me and my brother. Some people are embracing. Some parents are crying I guess there kids didn't make it.
"Can we go home?" I ask
" not yet. " answered my mom
