The young voice on the radio continues, "Sir, are you sure that's a good idea?"
The alley is dark, I can't see anything further than three feet away. I tilt my head in Ransom's direction. "What's happening?" I ask.
I can see Ransom's eyes are wide and his fists are clenched tight. I think back and try to remember why that voice sounds familiar. A bright light from the end of the alley interrupts my thoughts.
"Shit, they found us," Ransoms scowls.
"Who's they?" I ask carefully.
"Do you remember why you were sent to prison?" My eyes go wide as I realize why the young man's voice sounds so familiar.
"Baby?" I call out.
