At School's CanteenIt have been a week since Jennie keep avoiding him and he is sick of it. Everytime he wants to talk, she always has so many excuses and every-time she catch him looking at her, she will immediately walks away.
She also doesn't asks him to eat with her these days, why is her like that? It makes him wonder what's inside her mind. She sits together with her friends near the window facing the garden, laughing freely like she has no faults at all.
"Jennie Kim, I want to talk with you"
And just like what he predicts, the moment he comes to her table, her words becomes unclear and she won't look at him on the eyes.
"I-I want to go back to the class, can't we talk about this after school?"
He sighs, combing his hair backward. Her friends who look at them only can stay quiet as they don't know what to do in that situation.
"Okay. I will wait in front of your class after school"
With that, he leaves and she let out a deep breath. "I think it's the time for you to tell him that you're back together with Dean" Rose said while sipping her mango-juice. Jennie hangs her head, not saying anything, her expression is unreadable.
After School
He keeps waggling his feet while his eyes fixed to the clock, the moment the bell rings he stands up and walks out of the class real fast, leaving his friends behind. He can't wait to hear what she will say.
The moment the bell rings, she rushes out of the room to run away from Taeyong, she isn't ready to talk to him about her relationship with Dean. Her heart skips a beat the moment she steps out of the classroom, her nightmare is standing there, Lee Taeyong.
"Why are you avoiding me, Jennie?"
"..."
He goes straight to the point once both of them enter the old music room.
"Is it because of that kiss at Jaehyun's birthday party?"
"N-No! W-Well, yes... But, that's not the main reason why"
She looks down as she answer, afraid to make eye-contact with him.
"Do you have feelings for me?"
"W-Well..."
"Because I like you"
Those words slip out of his mouth just like that. But she just stand still, doesn't know what to say or what to do. She feels conflicted whether to let him know about what she feels to him these days or just rip off the band-aid and tell him that she is getting better with Dean
"What are we? Because I'm sure friends doesn't make out with eachother"
"Taeyong... I was drunk"
He let out a soft sigh and smirks, not saying anything.
"Taeyong... I'm sorry"
She runs up to him the moment he walks away from that room, holding onto his shirt.
"Taeyong I-"
"What are you even sorry for? Giving me false hopes? Kissing me and then tell me that you were drunk so it meant nothing?"
His eyes is full of anger and disappointment, he clutches his hands so hard that Jennie knows if she's a boy he might hit her right away.
"Thanks, Jennie. You're a really good friend"
He pulls his arm and leaves her there, speechless.

The cold wind blows through his dark-brown locks as the wave meets the shore, he tighten his jacket while still sitting on one of the massive rocks facing the sea. No matter how hard he tries to clutch his chest, the pain that he feels won't go away.
"Why it has to be him that you choose?"
He doesn't understand the way Jennie thinks, Dean hurts her, he beat him up, he also cheated on her, and not give a damn about her until the last moment of their relationship, but why do she still choose him rather than himself?
The memory of them kissing haunts his mind, the softness of her lips, the sweet taste of her strawberry chapstick, and the warmness of her hug, that time was so perfect that he doesn't want it to end. But here we are, in a reality which rarely goes our way.
Jennie sits at the corner of the cafe, the smell of freshly-baked goods fills her lungs. That cafe is the place where Taeyong and her used to visit, the place where she chooses to leave Taeyong only to see Dean. She sighs as she remembers how much Taeyong did for her.
The time when it was raining hard and they had to share an umbrella.
The time when Taeyong brought her cakes even though she left him the other day.
The time when Taeyong gave her a warm canned lemon tea.
The time when she asks Taeyong to be friend with her even though she knew that he has a crush on her.
And the time when he searched for her and get beaten up by Dean.
She let out a heavy sigh, all he did was good things but she ruined it all by kissing him while still in a relationship with another man.
"What should I do?"
Her head drops to the table, from her face you can tell that she is really conflicted inside.
