Everyone turned towards the laugh and the figure that was at the top of the hill. There stood a tall man with jeans, a white shirt, black converse, and a leather jacket. He had one green eye and one gold eye, his black hair styled in a punk way and he smiled. Thats when everyone remembered, that their dead. That they were in a village created on the outskirts of purgatory. They were all famous people in history and that the book helped them to realize that they were waiting for something. They were waiting for Death and the book described his life, and his life was anything but beautiful, and thats why they all cried.
Realizing this, they all stood still and watched him as his voice boomed "I have picked you all to help me get souls. You may live as a human as long as you collect them alright?" and they all nodded. He smirked "follow me".
