I whipped out my school issued phone, ( which, by the way, can only access google or the school schedule, though I heard about people like Aria with technology powers watching YouTube or downloading apps on them ) and checked the schedule. My first class was Chemistry. More like cheMYSTERY BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON. Adara would be proud of that pun. I grabbed my chemistry book and then remembered that we didn't need our textbooks today. I walked to class and made it just as the bell rang. My lab partner was Aella. She was Adara's twin, so I hung out with her quite a bit because Adara liked having her around. I recognized some other people in my class like Blaze, Cara, and Alec, but nobody that I was really close to.

"Okay class," I was kicked out of my thoughts by Ms. Luelle speaking.

"Today we are going to see who can make something explode the fastest. No powers allowed." She continued, as half the glass groaned at the no powers part.

"Three, Two, One... GO!" Ms. Luella said.

The class started throwing random chemicals together and soon the class was covered in them. About 1 minute in we had our first explosion, and then people started laughing and throwing chemicals around, and mixing chemicals and throwing the results around. I ducked as some mystery mix flew over my head. I was tempted to run over and put some cyanide in the person who threw the mystery mix's mouth but, sadly, killing people was frowned upon. Ms. Luella ran out and called the hazardous waste removal people, while the entire class was having a chemicals war.

"Okay, on the count of three, we'll run for the door." I said to Adara. Chara and Alec crawled over.

"Do you mind if we run too?" Cara asked.

"Not at all" I replied.

"Three..." Airia said.

"Two..." Alec continued.

"ONE!" Cara yelled, and we all ran for the door, the sound of explosions in the background. We managed to get out with only a small amount of goop all over us. The bell rung, so we were allowed to leave and get ready for the next class. I had slid on the floor through the door, and Chara and Alec tripped, so Airia helped us up.

"That was fun." Airia said, laughing.

"I haven't ran that fast since I was 5 and running away from the people here..." I said. Alec put his hand on my shoulder.

"At least we didn't die from any of those mystery mixes!" He said, obviously trying to make me feel better. We all laughed.

"Well, I'm going to get my books now." Airia said.

"See you guys later!" Cara said. We all walked towards our lockers.
