Chapter 1: Unusual

Today, like any other days, the guild is crowded. It's usually rowdy and full of noises which I have growned accustomed in the past years I've been here. Fighting, drinking, laughing and endless fun. This is Fairy Tail. My home.

"Mira-nee! Where should I put these boxes?" Lissana, my little sister ask carrying a mid size boxes. Ever since she came back to us from Edolas she's been helping me managing the bar which I'm very thankful of.

"Storage, please." I said sweetly drying the glasses.

"Alright!"

"Thank you."I smiled. I glanced around the guild and spotted Lucy and Natsu heading my way. One of my favourite ship that has not sail yet. I'm patiently waiting cause everything is worth a wait. "Morning you two." I greeted with a smile; "The usual?"

Lucy slump on the bar counter, "Yes, please." she mumbles sleepily.

"What's wrong, Lucy?" I ask, preparing their usual order.

"I haven't paid my rent. I badly want money right now." She grumbled, "A job that is worth a years rent."

"Then let's do a job right now, Luce!" Natsu said excitedly.

Lucy frowned at her pink haired partner, "I want a job that I can return alive, Natsu. And please stop coming to my house and disturbed my sleep!"

"Aw come on, Luce! Your house is great and you always wake up late. I just did you a favor." Natsu explained. The celestial mage just glared at him.

"Now now, you two." I placed their order in the counter; "I'm sure there are jobs that can help you. We have tons of request in the board." I pointed at the job request board to which only Lucy did the checking as the pink haired dragon slayer is already devouring his food. I shook my head at that and continue drying the glasses.

"Ywo knaw for swam rewson..." Natsu with his mouth stuffed with food spoke before gulping, "Luce smell nice. I wonder what's her perfume?"

"Let it not be an Ichiya perfume." I said warily, cringing at the last time Ichiya spread his abomination called perfume.

"No. It's different. I like her smell."

"What smell, flame brain?"

"You smell like sweaty balls, ice princess." Natsu mocks Gray.

"Shut up you stupid flame brain!"

"Make me, you ice jerk!"

Well... You already know what's going to happen. I continued doing my job at the counter as the guild now is in ruckus with everyone fighting. Except Gajeel who is just sitting pretty close to Levy. For some reason the iron dragon slayer seemed glued to Levy with his side touching Levy's who is busy reading a book that she didn't even mind that Gajeel is twirling her hair in his fingers and somehow sniffing it. Natsu on the other hand already pulled away from the fight he initiated and was now standing close to Lucy. Weird...

"Mira!" It was Elfman. I smiled at him.

"Yes, Elfman?"

"I'm going on a mission with Ever." He said, "Take care, okay? You and Lissana."

I smiled at him assuringly, "We'll be fine, Elfman. Take care and enjoy your mission with 'Ever'." I teased. Elfman just blushed and walks off. I waved at him. Elfman and Evergreen seems to have grown more closer after years since we were in Tenrou Island. I wouldn't be surprised if they already started dating and kept it a secret. I'll be upset but happy nonetheless. Lissana and Bixslow, Erza and Jellal, Natsu and Lucy, Gray and Juvia, Gajeel and Levy and other I had in mind that I would like to someday become a couple. I'd see the day. Me... well, I'll just have to wait. Maybe a bit more won't hurt.
