Chapter 1

HAI!!!!! So this is my first book erm I don't know if people will like it. I hope they do but if you do comment and all that stuff to let me know if you want more. XD I hope you like it, oh and the last thing is I'm really sorry if there are spelling or punctuation errors and things like that. It is not very well written and a lot didn't happen in this chapter but it is just an intro to see about their lives and how they meet.

~Rose description and life~
I'm 17
I have blue and purple long hair, it is an 'emo' haircut
I have gauges
I do cut (I'm telling you now instead of later)
My mother works four jobs to support my family and I work part time at Hot Topic
My dad left when I was three because he would beat me, my siblings, and my mother and she told him to leave
I have two sisters, one is younger than me (Saphire) and the other one is five years older than me (Diamond)
I also have three brothers, two of them are older and they are twins (Troye and Lucas)
My youngest brother is only eight months old, his name is Matthew

~Charolette description and life~
I'm 17
I have bright red medium length hair
I have snake bites and gauges
My parents both died in a car crash when I was eight so now I live with my new 'parents' (Mike and Bea) and their children. My brother (Damien) who is 19 always looks out for me even though he doesn't live here anymore. He is my real brother.
The other siblings ( Josie, 13, Ben, 13) aren't my real siblings but we do get along really well and I look out for them.

Rose's POV

"I'm hoooome!!!!!!" I screamed as I shut the back door.
"shhhhhhhhhhh" my mom whined while she cradled Matthew in her arms singing him a song. She was really good at singing but she never got the chance to go with that career because she had kids.

My sister Saphire came running out of her room and said "Can we go??" she whined "pleeeaaase!!!!" she added and gave me the puppy dog eyes. I chuckled and said "Of course we can." I asked my mom if she wanted to come and she said no. I thought to myself 'like that was a shock

We got into the car and drove to our destination. She turned the radio on and plugged in her phone so we could listen to her music. We listened to the same music so we didn't have to fight on which channel to put it on. Never Let Me Go by We Came As Romans came on and we both were singing at the top of our lungs. We got the usual stares from people in other cars but we could care less about what people thought of us.

A few songs later we arrived at the State Prison. We got out of the car and had to go through security first ,as usual, and then got our visiting pass things and walked over and waited for Diamond. She was a straight A student until she started hanging out with her friend Candy so she is now being serving 10 years in prison for drug possession. She has already served 9 years and she only has 5 more months.

We sat down at the metal tables and waited. Some security guards came out man-handling Diamond and sat her down at the table.

"I'm so glad you guys came!!!!!" she squealed "We come almost every other week,why wouldn't we do the same this week?" I said in a know it all tone. She smirked at me and laughed a bit. She talked about things that happen in prison mostly just fights and gossip about new inmates. We stayed there for only 30 minutes because they wouldn't let us stay any longer so we were saying our goodbyes. me and Saphire got into the car and drove home.

When we got home my mom was really happy , we got over to her and asked what happened.

She said "We are moving!!!!!!!

" why do we have to move?" I asked curiously

"A producer person offered me a job and I might get a contract to be a professional singer" she said hugging me and Saphire.

We looked for houses all week long after that. We finally found one in a nice neighborhood and we could actually afford it with my money from my job and her money from her jobs.

We had already packed up everything in our apartment except for mine and Saphire's room so I started packing. We didn't have a lot of stuff so it wasn't hard to pack. As I finished up packing Saphire came in and started taking down the posters we had on our walls. We got all our stuff and brought it out to the living room in our apartment.

We waited for the moving trucks to get to the building and when they finally came we put boxes and furniture in the truck and told them our new address. They followed our car to the new house, when we arrived at the new house we all stood there in amazement. We have never lived in something other than hotels and apartments so this was wonderful.

We started moving boxes in the new house when I felt someone starring at me but I let it be and just kept moving boxes into MY own room. It was a deep dark blue (I picked the color). We were finally done unpacking and we went to Home Depot to get some paint and paint supplies for Saphire's room. She picked out a color called Stormy Day it's like a light gray. We bought the paint and supplies for painting.

Then when we made our way home we say our neighborhood has a pool and tennis court so as soon as I got home I looked around in every box until I found mine and Saphire's swim suits and we went to the pool. We walked out in the sun and it was hot until a car pulled up and stopped two feet in front of us and asked if we needed a ride to the pool which was where she was going. We were timid to get into the car until she said "Don't worry I'm not a kidnapper, I saw you guys moving in next door, I'm your neighbor. Charolette is the name" she giggled and reached her hand out for us to shake it.

"My name is Rose and this is my little sister, Saphire" I said with a slight grin on my face. We hopped in and she gave us a ride to the pool....
