Chapter 39

_______AMANDAS POV______

"Hey" I said as I walked into hunter parents house with hunter. I have them both hugs,

"So you liked the dress yesterday?" She asked. I nodded my head fast and hugged her.

"Yes thank you so much for helping me" I said.

"Seems like just yesterday I was changing hunters diaper" she said. I giggled.

"Mom!" Hunter said.

"Come with me Amanda and you can see the book of his baby pictures" she said. I smiled and looked back at hunter,

"Seriously?" He asked. We walked over to the couch and Lynette had a big book. She went through explaining every single one of them to me.

"Okay that's enough" hunter sad as he tried grabbing the book from his mom,

"Oh don't worry hunter you were a cute baby" I said pinching his cheeks. He glared at me and finally got the book from Lynette.

"And if I ever see a baby picture of you...." Hunter trailed off,

"Yeah cause that will totally happen" I said rolling my eyes. Hunter sat next to me so I was in the middle of him and his mom.

"Hey Amanda, would you like To go to the store with me?" Lynette asked.

"Sure" I smiled. She got up and I followed her,

"Bye azzy!" Hunter yelled as I was walking past him.

"Don't call me that blondie!" I yelled back and shut the door. I got in the passenger side of the car and Lynette started it up.

"So you like it back in Nashville?" She asked. I smiled,

"Yes! It feels like my second home, next to Texas." I said smiling.

"I've never been to Texas." She said.

"It's a great place. You should really go" I said smiling at her.

"Maybe one of these days" she said. A little while later we pulled up to the store parking lot.

"Amanda, will you go to that side of the store and get these things?" She asked me giving me a piece of paper,

"Yeah sure" I said smiling. I took the paper and walked my separate way. I grabbed a little hand basket, and tried reaching something on the top shelf,

"Curse my shortness" I whispered. I tapped my foot on the floor and started jumping.

"Almost!" I whispered.

"Need some help?" I heard. I jumped and turned around.

"I got this." I said as I turned around again.

"What your name?" He asked again. I finally reached it.

"There" I said. I looked back up at him

"I don't think my names important right now" I said.

"Cute" he said.

He looked behind him and looked back at me,

"Look I better get going" I said pointing the other way,

"Can I have your number?" He asked.

"Don't think that's a good idea" I said.

"Why?" He asked. I held up my hand and turned around and started walking away.

"I'm gunna start bringing hunter with me wherever I go" I mumbled to myself. I ran into Lynette on my way to find her,

"Oh hello" I said.
