The Suit

"Alright C, today is the day! Are you excited? Are you ready?" Tiffany said with excitement.

I nodded nervously and bit my lip.

We were heading to meet Shawn at a local hotel in LA.

He was only here for a few days and Tiffany wanted to get his measurements and suggestions before he left for back home.

We parked in a parking garage where 3 men waited for us at the door.

"Tiffany, it's great to see you again!" One of the men said while hugging her.

Tiffany introduced me to the men; Shawn's body guards.

"Let me show you to his room, he should be back any second. Just went out for a quick promo"

I looked around nervously as we headed into the hotel and to Shawn's room.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Well since we have a few minutes to kill until the superstar gets here, let's unpack and get everything ready. We should keep this short and sweet." Tiffany said.

We started to unpack all of our supplies when I heard the door open and close behind me.

Keeping my head down, Tiffany ran and gave Shawn the biggest hug.

"Tiffany!!!"

"Shawn!!!"

"Ahhh I missed you. How have you been?" Shawn said in that Canadian accent that makes me swoon.

They had a quick conversation, simply catching up on his life and hers.

"Let me introduce you to someone who's very special and talented. Our newest intern is here to help design you the perfect suit for MET. " Tiffany said while smiling at me.

"Hi" I said while sticking my hand out.

"Hey, I'm Shawn, it's great to meet you". Shawn said while shaking my hand.

We stood there and stared into each other's eyes (which seemed like forever).

"Alright you two...let's get started"

Shawn gave me a smirk coupled with a wink and sat down on the ottoman.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------A few hours later, we had the perfect suit drawn out with all of Shawn's measurements.

We decided on a somewhat tight fitting maroon suit coupled with subtle designs on the fabric.

"This looks amazing guys, I can't believe how awesome this suit looks!" Shawn said happily.

I smiled at him and nodded my head.

This was truly one of the best suits I'd ever seen.

"OK well C and I will pick out some fabrics, do a little more designing, and start working out fittings. Let me talk to your manager and compare schedules." Tiffany said walking off.

"So, where are you from?" Shawn asked while scanning me up and down.

"I'm from Philadelphia. I go to school there actually, I'm just here helping Tiffany out."

"What about this internship? Tiffany has been raving about you since she met you."

I blushed and explained the internship.

"C come on! It's time to go. Shawn, we will see you tomorrow morning bright and early." Tiffany said from across the room.

I started walking to the door when Shawn grabbed my arm.

"I'd love to get to know you better. Join me for lunch later?" Shawn whispered in my ear, sending chills down my spine.

I smiled and let out a small giggle. 

"I should probably help Tiffany with all of this but..."

Tiffany cut me off by again calling my name and I quickly got out of his grasp and scurried to the door; my heart was racing.

"So what was that all about missy?" Tiffany smirked and looked at me.

"Oh nothing, just you know getting to know Shawn a bit better. I think it'll help me understand his personality and style better."

"Uh huh, well just be careful. Shawn's been seeing Ms. Baldwin lately and trust me you don't want to get in between them and cause drama." 

I nodded and put my head back on the headrest.

Did Shawn really just ask me out to lunch to get to know his stylist better? Or was there an underlying reason....?
