'This place is different than what we are used to... Dark and barren, it is rather Rocky with some crags in the walls but seemed suitable to fit a Home into someday. The entire cave, if you walked further, was actually rather large and empty. Perhaps the Humans had planned this and picked a spot out for us Monsters already! That would be hilarious... Knowing they've always hated us from the beginning. It seemed to make sense though that everyone hated us anywho. After all we are creatures that seem to have no meaningful place in the world. Maybe ev-' his thoughts were interrupted "It will be fine Gaster" a furry paw, large, fluffy, and white sat upon their shoulder. The skeleton, at this time their face was cracked because of the war, looked up at Asgore with a small smile. He then said to them, "I thank you but if you haven't seen we are trapped in a cave for eternity." After a moment the large Goat (or Luck Dragon, depending on your view of Undertale) gave a small laughter to Gaster. This made Gaster's expression become quizzical, "What are you laughing about? This is no laughing matter I assure you!" He exclaimed in a serious tone while Asgore continued laughing. Asgore is far younger and had a small amount of stubble at this time, not a large scratchy beard and deep voice but a more soft tone. Soon he responded to Gaster with a bit of a laughter in his tone still, "You were always so pessimistic, look at this place it won't be so bad if we renovate it!" Asgore said with a warm smile. Gaster sighed and just walked along yet deeper into the Underground, far faster than the other monsters and was just curious what lie ahead. Some holes in the wall shown out into the cave and revealed how large it actually was because they emitted some light... It was extraordinary how large it could become considering, as far as he could tell, it was only natural.

Soon they entered the large section of this cave, it was the lowest part and could easily fit an entire city inside of it so this was good for them. Every Monster could actually fit in here. Gaster then thought to himself about it, 'Maybe Humans planned this place out and fixed it all together for emergency because it is oddly shaped so perfectly anyone could live in here... It is one of the best places for anyone to live even possibly as good as the Surface world. Yes that would be a good name for this place... The Underground...' his thoughts finished before interruption from the Monsters. They began bustling in commotion about what to do and Asgore soon stepped ahead of them all into a clearing in the area holding his arms up for silence and when it came, slowly brought his arms down. "Everyone we seem to have all we need here already, some of us can be  like a good tool yes? No, no that came out wrong let me reword..." Gaster chuckled whenever Asgore said that. Soon Asgore spoke again after catching a Second Wind, "Some of us can use our abilities to easily create somewhere to live! Someplace to flourish and prosper even if in our new Underground Home, way deep down here where we have been thrown away has all we need to survive! We could probably create our own foods in a way... Artificially!!" Gaster crossed his arms, Asgore looked to Gaster whenever he said that and Gaster knew exactly what Asgore wanted him to do. Besides him a child Monster by the name of Alphys was the smartest in the Underground. Asgore wanted him to make those foods even if he weren't a chef he'd need to make something for them all eventually. it seemed the Monsters had taken to calling this place The Underground as if by instinct though. After all Asgore called it their, "Underground Home" and The Underground had a nice ring to it for the cave they'd have to live in.

Gaster soon walked off and decided it would be best to set up a new lab for himself to begin creating the Artificial foods for everyone... It would take a long while for this to be done but once he had the perfect recipe everyone could begin making their own unique foods. This would be a tough project for him but he'd have to finish it as fast as possible if the people were to survive more than a week, Gaster estimated the time of this to take about 3 days if he had no interruptions or extra interests. He walked and walked then came across a dead end, it took a while to get down here but lava flooded all of the way, "what are we in a Volcano?" Gaster asked himself but little did he know the small Scientist Kid Alphys had been following him. She did this a lot to see if she could learn anything from him, but Gaster sat at the edge and watched ahead to see another large area at the other end. He thought for a moment then exclaimed, "There has to be a way!!" He soon stood up and dusted off the flaps of his jacket then ran to the side a little, grabbing some rocks and using magic to make them stay afloat. This created a bridge for him to cross and he continued making it out of the stones in the wall but eventually something stopped him, it pushed back his magic and kept him away. There must have been a Barrier throughout the entire mountain so digging out wasn't an option. Yet still he continued to make the bridge until it was stable and safe to cross for anyone, this took a long while. He walked across but all Monsters had been watching him so this made them easily noticable. Gaster walked off and when he eventually made it to the other end he continued walking. They soon made it to the other side and continued after that to see what lies ahead... 'Such a vast cave so possibly my theories are correct on the Humans having a project to throw us Underground in the first place anywho... Such a cruel race they are but I admire them for their strength and will' he hadn't realized he was making a building but it was from his idle boredom that he did but it was actually looking a little good so far, cracked almost everywhere because it is made from stones in a wall but it looked well. He decided he'd have to find a way to get more building elements soon if they wanted better buildings. Asgore watched and whispered to the Monsters loudly, but he wasn't trying to interrupt Gaster is why he spoke in such a low tone, "Go quickly and start creating Buildings as well to where we can have some form of shelter, maybe even warmth because it is so cold down here" he chuckled. Gaster was ignoring them all and eventually finished the building's back wall. It was a lengthy rectangle shape and he didn't like it but he'd finish it eventually. Soon Gaster called forth a Monster covered in all sorts of metals and things, "You can transform elements correct?" Gaster asked in a hurried tone to which the Monster's reply to this was, "Of course that's my ability!" They were rather nervous yet Gaster didn't care. He eyed them a moment then looked at his tall Rocky building then started fixing it up.

Soon the Monsters had many buildings up, hundreds in the main room but each 1 Monster, excluding families, we're creating their own private homes. It took Gaster until about 3/10 of the Monster population had a home now, even if unfurnished they loved them. The Monsters were rather proud at their building skills, some buildings though we're actually a bit bent to a different direction though... But it didn't matter because for some the lean was part of their style! The Monsters were loving this little project and listened to Asgore without a care. They truly trusted him, Gaster thought to himself.

After Gaster made a large 2 story rectangular building with some furnishings, such as a table, Gaster instructed the Monster to make the tables wooden, the building a white metal, etc, but of course no fridge or other electronically powered device was around because it would be useless to create something such as that due to the fact there was no electricity. The metallic monster, who looked a lot like a golem, had a little trouble but soon started to change the building. The white metal of the building was slowly fading in from the left and started to shine from the lava, it was a rather spectacular sight seeing matter change so quickly. Eventually the building was finished and the monster walked inside, then began changing the furnishings to their required things. Gaster had a terrible idea to experiment on the Monster if they let him as to make the transformation of buildings faster and easier, yet he thought it a wonderful idea. Once the building was complete he let the monster out after it had some rest and then began working on a supplemental type of food so they didn't have to resort to cannibalistic nature and begin eating each other. This project would keep him busy a long, long, long time...
