Chapter 5 - Friend in the dungeon

Molly's POV

I open my eyes and look at an unfamiliar ceiling I slowly sit up and look around the room. Its quiet beautiful cream walls one big window with a nice view of a field leading onto the forest. I can see three door's one to lead out of the room and one for the bathroom and the last I think could be the walk-in-closet. the bed that I am sat on is a nice queen size with a wood frame.

(What the hell happened? How did I get here? and where is Katherine?)

'Hanna where are we?'

'We are in the Royal pack territory.'

It all come's flooding back to me. Us running the wolves chasing us. Stopping at the clearing Kat fighting. My Mate Oh My God I found my mate. Kat on the floor out cold then everything thing went black. The door open's and I back up into the corner out of habit and the most handsome man I have ever seen walks in tall muscly man with short blond hair standing there.

"Where's Katherine?" I ask in a whisper but I know he heard me because he looks me in the eye.

"That rouge is where she belong's"

"And where do you be-leave she belong's"

I know it's not like me to speak up but when it comes to Katherine it's different she's saved me more times then I can count. I need to know she's safe. My mate walks closer to me and sits on the bed as I move closer to the window to keep some distance because I only trust Katherine.

"In the dungeons where else."

"Why... why have you put her there."

"Really mate you want me to explain it."

"Yes I do she is everything to me and doesn't deserve to be there."

"She took out three of our best fighter in human form and trespassed on this territory."

"I trespassed two does that mean I am going there two?"

"No your my mate your staying with me."

"Only if she get out of there."

I run to the bedroom door and out into the hallway, I start running down the stairs once I get to the bottom two strong arms grab me around the waist pulling me back to a chest.

"Where are you going little mate?"

"To get my friend and then get away from here."

"Sorry mate that's not happening you're staying with me where you belong."

"No I want to see kat!"

"You're not going anywhere near that rouge."

"Why I want to see kat."

"I won't let you go anywhere near that lying rouge."

"What are you talking about?"

I pull out of his arms and turn to face him.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER."

I shout shaking.

(OH MY GOD my so called mate hurt her. What did he do? How bad did he hurt her?)

"I had a little chat with her."

He says nervously not looking at me.

"What. Did. You. Do"

I could hear someone walking closer to us but I didn't look away from my so called mate.

'He is our mate not so called.'

'Maybe but he hurt Katherine don't you care after everything she's done for us?'

'Ye I do.'

'There.'

She goes silent feeling torn between her mate and her life saver/best friend.

"I... I interrogated her."

"What did you do."

"He did his job that's what he did."

I turn to the voice and see a charming looking man standing there but he's really intimidating and I take a small step back on instinct.

"My king I'm sorry I will continue this with my mate up stairs."

He says going to grab my arm but I move out of his reach.

"No I'm not going anywhere unless it's to see Katherine, she is all I care about if it wasn't for her I would probably be dead. Now take me to see her."

A growl ripples out of my mate's chest making me take a step away from him again. He look at me with sadness before he lower's his head slightly. We stand in silence before the king speak's again.

"Tom you and your mate come to my office, now!"

He says before turning and walking away.

"Come on little mate."

Tom says before putting a hand behind me. I quickly follow the king keeping a good distance for my mate. I follow the king into his office and it's huge, I watch as the king takes a seat behind his desk looking back at me.

"You may both have a seat."

The king says making me aware that my mate is standing just behind me before taking a seat across for the king looking back at me waiting. There is a seat next to my mate but also a sofa further away from the two of them. I slowly make my way there and take a seat. I wish Kat was here she knows how to make me feel better.
