This is a simple Jun fanfiction based off of a weird moment when I spaced out. I don't even know, and I also exaggerated a lot of details. My spacing out session was a lot simpler than this. This is obviously Angst because I apparently can't write a story without it and some Fluff cause it's great. You are Y/N in this story and we will just pretend that it's just Jun and no Seventeen (totally not too lazy stop accusing me).
You were in your room, changing into some spandex shorts, black in color, and a purple sports bra. You had decided to go out into the woods for a run, because you had nothing else to do and you were bored. You tugged your black sneakers onto your feet and tied them tight, making sure to double-knot the laces so they wouldn't come undone. You looked into the mirror and grabbed a purple hairtie, throwing your hair up in a simple messy bun. You walked down the stairs and grabbed your phone and arm band, securing it around your forearm before tucking your phone into you. You grabbed your keys and walked out of the house, locking the door behind you.
You walked for a few minutes, and then jogged to warm up. You had already entered the woods by now, and nobody else was there. It was a sunny yet cool day, as it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold, either. You smiled and began your run, your arms pumping beside you as you let yourself work. The wind blew gently in your face, some stray hairs sticking to your forehead as you started to sweat. You still didn't see anybody, but you didn't mind that. You panted slightly, starting to feel the burn. The trees swayed and you smelled the fresh dirt in the ground, fueling your run more. You kept on running, not caring about anything else in the world.
Probably around 15 minutes later, you spotted someone else running in the distance. You could only a see a white shirt because of how far the person still was, but they were running. As you got closer, you made out some of their features. They were male, and he had light brown hair that was sticking to his forehead due to sweat, you assumed. He seemed muscular and lean, and he was wearing a white tee shirt and black basketball shorts. He was overall very handsome, and you smiled again, not knowing that someone had popped out of the trees. "Hey, look out!" The man in the white tee shirt shouted, before you felt pain shoot up your arm. You fell back, and you realized that the man who popped out of the trees had shot you.
You fell back, a scream of pain leaving your lips. Blood pulsated out of your shoulder and tears streamed down your cheeks. The man in white had pinned the man down, using the butt of the gun as a way to knock him out. Through your tears, you saw him run towards you. He was so gorgeous up close. His eyes were wide with fear and he was panting and sweating heavily. "Miss, m-miss, are you okay?!" He said in a panicked voice, looking all around you. You gasped as your wounded shoulder throbbed, shaking your head. "I-it hurts, s-so bad, I-I- am I g-going to die?! I-I don't wanna die, i-it hurts-" you stuttered out, starting to sob harder as you trembled. The man in white pulled out his phone, speaking quickly as he explained what happened. He eyed the unconscious man, making sure he was still down.
"My name is Junhui, can you tell me your name?" The man spoke in a tender voice, holding your hand gently. "Y-Y/N-" you whimpered, gripping onto his hand. "Okay Y/N, take a few deep breaths, you're going to be okay, I will stay right here with you. You're going to be okay." He said, his voice soothing you. Your tears stopped flowing, and you felt Junhui stroke your hair. You heard sirens in the distance, and you gulped, trying to wiggle closer to Junhui for protection. "Shhh... it's just the ambulance. They will help you, Y/N. I promise you, I won't leave your side unless you want me too." You nodded. "D-don't leave..." You managed to breath out, before slowly losing consciousness.
You woke up in a hospital bed. Your shoulder throbbed, and you hissed in pain as you tried to move it. You looked over and saw someone, asleep in a chair that was pushed close to the bed. Junhui? You thought, trying to remember his name. "J-Junhui?" You said softly, and he snapped his head up. "Y/N?! Oh my god, you're okay-" he said, grabbing your hand softly. It was soft and warm, and fit almost perfectly with yours. You blushed softly, nodding. "Thanks to you, I'm okay... I could've died..." You whispered softly, shyly looking up into his soft, chocolate brown eyes. "I wouldn't just leave you there, I wanted to help you right when he shot you." He said with a gentle smile that could cure any disease. You tightened your grip around his hand as you realized something, your eyes widening. "W-where's the man?!" You shrieked, you breath quickening slightly.
"Hey... shh... he's in the hospital, guarded by a few police officers. I must have hurt him pretty badly..." he said, nervously chuckling and scratching the back of his neck. "I kind of beat him up and knocked him out-" "You did?! Wow-" you said in awe. "He even had a gun and you didn't get hurt?" Junhui showed his hands, and his knuckles were covered in small scratches. "Just scratched hands, I'm okay." He said with a warm smile. You sighed in relief, your heart fluttering at his smile. You just met this man and you're already falling for him?
You both talked for hours, laughing and hanging out. Soon, a doctor walked in with a clipboard. "Miss Y/N, we have good news and bad news. Your shoulder will heal just fine, as the bullet when through your shoulder and exited your body as well. It was a clean shot, as we call it. Bad news is... it's going to take a long time to heal, probably around 4-6 months. You can't move your shoulder at all because it will ruin the healing process, and you'll need help with daily tasks. Do you have someone at home who can help you?" The doctor spoke, and your face fell. You didn't have any family, and you've never had a boyfriend. You had friends, but... You weren't super close to any of them. You've been alone for a while. You thought you were fine but just now, you realized that you really felt alone. You slowly shook your head. "I have no one..." You spoke in a sad, soft tone. "I'll do it."
Junhui said, nodding his head at the doctor. "What?" You said, blinking a few times. The doctor smiled. "Are you okay with that, miss?" He said, and you absent-mindedly nodded. "Alright, I'll have a nurse come in and show you how to change your bandages, and I need Mister Junhui to watch so he can help you. I'll get you discharge papers ready." The doctor said, walking out.
After the nurse showed you and Junhui how to change the bandages and the discharge papers were signed, you both got in a taxi and drove to your house. You were going to get your stuff and move in with Junhui for the time being. "I'll take care of you, and we can get closer, okay? I promise I won't hurt you and I'll protect you from now on." He said in a soft voice, and you nodded, gently leaning your head on his shoulder. He leaned his head on yours and smiled.

It's been a few months, and you've gotten really close with Junhui. Your shoulder is still not fully healed, and it really hurts at times, but your recovery process is going well. You have a huge crush on your now best friend, but you haven't said anything. You call him Jun now, as well as a few random nicknames here and there.
The two of you were on the couch, and you were sitting next to him, your bad shoulder on the outside so you could cuddle better. Yes, you guys cuddled. A cute, romantic kdrama was playing on the TV, and you guys were just chit-chatting away. Suddenly, Jun leaned over and grabbed the remote, pausing the movie. You looked at him, confused, thinking he wanted to get a snack or something. Instead, he grabbed your hands and intertwined your fingers through yours. You looked up into his eyes, which were sparkling and fierce.
"Y/N. I laid eyes on you, and I felt something I've never felt before. You are beautiful, and you're amazing. I didn't want to leave your side, and I still don't. I have been so happy with you, here with me, and I couldn't ask for anything else. Well, I guess you could say that I've fallen hard for you. Will you be my girlfriend? I promise I'll protect you and love you and stay with you forever, you've told me about your past and I intend to make your future so amazing that your past no longer hurts. I love you so much..." Jun said, looking deep into your eyes. You were in shock. Your heart was pounding against your ribcage, and you were tearing up. You grinned and nodded. "I would love to be your girlfriend." You said, and he hugged you, being careful not to hurt you.
When he pulled away from the hug, he stared into your eyes again, cupping your cheeks. You closed your eyes, and without warning, you felt his lips on yours, kissing you softly and full of love. You kissed back, your bad shoulder hanging by your side while your good arm moved up, your hand on his shoulder. He tilted his head, and you did the same, deepening the kiss slightly. You two kissed for a while until Jun pulled away, panting slightly. "I've wanted to do that for so long..." he whispered, and you smiled. "Me too..." You giggled and snuggled up close against Jun's warm body, closing your eyes. You both fell asleep, smiles upon your lips.
How did you guys like it? I got a sudden burst of imagination and stuff ahaha😂 I think this is my best fanfiction so far, it took like 2 hours to write- anyways, I hope you enjoy this and hopefully I'll get a burst of imagination soon~
