Closer and closer, his face (yet again) inches from mine. Quickly,but gently, he raisrd a hand and placed it above my head.

Confused. That's what I was, just confused. My fear kinda withered awat when I noticed who this guy was, and I didn't feel like being angry. Not to my best friend.

Firstly, how on earth were you allowed to come back? Secondly, Why did you come?"

"Happy birthday Jackson." It was Jackson's 5th birthday and we were living in Seoul. Our parents kinda just said we can just stay in their sight and left us two in the park.
I walked up behind Jackson, wgo was sitting on a swing and gave him a flower (since I was that classic niave protagonist).
H didn't answer
Jacksons head was six feet under,and his hands were covering his face, I was jealous that hus feet could touch the floor but I brushed it aside.
"Momma says we're going to go tthe skate park, then Panda Express," (not sorry) I spoke quickly, tryibg to geta reaction out of him. And boy, I did.
"We're moving." Those two words were enough to make me stop in my track. I hoped athis was just a joke
Finally Jackson lifted up his head, drenched with tears. He'd been crying. Suprisingly, he forced a smile and wiped away his visible pain.
"Wr're moving to Daegu... B-but I'm coming back though" he said and a small genuine smile danced across his lips.
"I'll come back to see you Y/N And when I do, I'll marry you." Jackson seemed as if he had just done something he had wanted to do for a while.
"Okay!" I giggled slightly asi sat next to him on the swings, our mothers having no idea what's going on.

"OH MY GOODNESS,IMISSED YOUSOMUCH." I yelled practically jumping into his arms.The last time I saw him was the day after the flashback. When he left.
"Jackson I-" I was cut off

"Got7" I quickly corrected Jackson,wondering what rock he had lived under for the past 15 years to not know the difference.
"How's your mom? Or Momma, as you uaed to say." He teased,rememering when you were three.
You looked to the ground and hia expression suddenly changed. This one had worry all ovet it
"Mom married again and decided to run away with him,making me have to live alone for two years. Two months after she left, I had something posted to me. It was her will. Soon after a i had a phone call from my stepdad. He said she, s-she died." I confessed, trying to hold tears while Jackson stood there dumbfounded.
"He said he kept the will but then posted it back, out of guilt.
Jackson was more confused than ever, trying to process what was going on. Soon after, he pulled you in his embrace as you cried, something you haven't done in a long time, not knowing he was doing the same.
