Feelings

Ellis was always a sweet guy to me. He was only fifteen,and was the kindest guy I know. "Chrystene.",Naomi said,shaking me. "Are you okay?" I frowned and stared at my notebook. My cheeks turned bright red. " Oh.", I cracked." I'm fine." Naomi rolled her eyes. " You date Keylan,but you hold feelings for another guy.",she remarked." What next? You have sex with Keylan,but have Ellis' children." I groaned. "Shut up!" I snapped. " Keylan is the only guy I need." Naomi grabbed my notebook and looked at the picture I drew. I frowned,staring at the heart with Ellis' name inside. " Maybe Keylan isn't.", I sighed. Naomi smiled."You have a choice." Heather, another friend, sat next to me. " Still have 'Ellis fever'?"she joked. I laid my head on my desk. " Yes.",I groaned." But,should I?" Naomi looked at Keylan then me." Girl,yes!" she said." Keylan treats you like you're trash,anyway. And,trust me. You aren't trash." Heather smiled." Like they said,"Ain't nothing like a good man!" she sung. I smiled and sat up. Heather and Naomi pointed at my phone." Talk to Ellis during lunch.",they said." Tell him. We'll deal with Keylan." I frowned." No. This is my problem. I'll tell Keylan.", I said,weakly. " Trust me, everything will be better after I do." Naomi tapped her nails on her desk." You know, Justin might jump in,Eriyana.",she said." Tell me when he does." I turned pale and jumped up. " Mr. Gibson!" I cried. " May I go to the restroom?" Mr. Gibson nodded as Heather hid my phone in her purse. Keylan looked at me, a worry expression across his face. " Are you okay?" he mouthed as I walked over to the door. I nodded and left.

Once I was in a restroom stall, I locked the door and pulled out my phone,since Heather handed my phone to me when she walked me to the restroom.

Ellis: Hi.

Chrystene: Hi!

Ellis: Wyd?

Chrystene: Vomiting. I'm so sick.

Ellis: R u okay?

Chrystene: Yeah. I think so.

Ellis: Okay. Well, r u busy?

Chrystene: Yeah. I kinda have to umm...head back to class.

Ellis: Awe! :'(. Ok..Bye.

I sighed and looked at the wall. "Chrystene!" cried Naomi. She was standing at the stall I was in. Next to her, seem to be Nurse Desa. " Ms. Hayes, are you okay?" Nurse Desa asked. I tossed my phone in my purse and opened the door. " I am fine.", I said. " May I call my mother?" Nurse Desa sighed. " I'll call her. Meet me in the main office." I nodded, and Naomi looked at me. " Are you okay?" she questioned. I nodded then looked at the floor. " Keylan asked about me?" I asked. Naomi sighed then shook her head. " Too busy flirting.",she said. I leaned against the wall,tears streaming down my face." He hates me." I whispered. Naomi sighed and hugged me. " But, the right guy doesn't.",she said. I smiled. " Yeah. Ellis doesn't.", I said,softly. Naomi nodded, and I wiped my face." Come on. You need to head to the office.",Naomi said,and we walked down the hall.

School was over with,and I was outside with Keylan."Why did you leave,baby?" he asked,giving me a kiss. " I was sick.", I said with a teasing laugh. " I'm not surprise you didn't know." Keylan frowned." Baby.",he said,softly. "What are you talking about?" I groaned and walked away. " Oh! So,that's how it is?" yelled Keylan. " Well,hell Chrystene. We are over!" I froze,looked at Keylan,and ran away.

"Stop crying,Chrystene.",Ellis cracked. " Everything will be fine."I was laying on my bed,crying,and talking to Ellis on my phone. "No.", I whispered. " What did I do? All I did was tried to be the best girlfriend." Ellis sighed."Chrystene. You were a good one. Please,don't cry. Keylan just doesn't want you. That's all." I wiped my face. " Really?" I questioned. " How come on MattelSpace, I found out Keylan was using me to get his ex back?" Ellis groaned." His a man---.",he said." Don't mess with boys like him." I cried again. " Are you okay?" Ellis asked. " I mean, I know you're upset,but don't focus on him." I sighed." I just thought he was "him". Ellis hesitanted after I said that. " Yeah. Guess you're wrong.",he said,dryly. " Hey, Chrystene. I got to go. Talk to you later." I hung up and looked at my clock. 10:40 pm. My phone rung, and I saw I had a text.

Keylan: Hey,idiot!

Chrystene: Hmm

Keylan: I have somethin for you.

Chrystene:Hmm

Keylan: Love is like you,but my love is more. I gave it to you,because--

Chrystene:Bye

I tossed my phone and sighed.

Naomi and Heather looked at me, disappointed. " Did you tell Ellis?" Heather asked. I shooked my head. " He has a girlfriend.", I said." Anyway, I was stressed the hell out last night." Naomi grabbed my arm. " Keylan isn't worth it.",she said." The boy is a b***h." I groaned,looking at Keylan. Heather snapped in my face." Give up.",she command. " Forget him. Hell, Keylan is easy to forget." I nodded, leaning on the wall." Why must all the drama happen during school?" I asked,loudly. Justin looked at me and smiled." Hey, Chrystene!" he yelled.". Still a b***h,huh?" I looked at him. " You're jokes still aren't funny.", I said,my brows raised. " If you get am education first, I bet your jokes won't be the worst. Actually, that's one thing that won't change. You'll still be an idiot and the worst person on Earth. No, the universe." Justin laughed. " Lame just became lame." Heather and Naomi looked at me, smiling. I smiled along. " But,lame can't get as lame as you.",we said together." Keylan's mouth dropped open. Everyone around started to laugh. Justin stormed off,heading outside.

" Okay,girls!"said Coach Len. She had hazel hair and huge, coca eyes. Coach Len was the only female coach,and the cheerleadering coach. "I'll call out your name,and you'll prove you belong here. Got it?" I sighed,looking at my red shorts. Naomi leaned against me." What's wrong with you?" she asked. I pointed at Keylan,Justin,and their friends. " That's what's wrong. I'm totally going to mess up. See, they aren't even practicing,just watching me.", I said." Ugh!" Heather sat next to me. " We're next.",she whispered. "Chrystene, remember." I nodded,taking a deep breathe. All three of us walked in front of our classmates,and sighed. I looked at Keylan and his friends,then turned around. " Ready,Okay!" I yelled. Naomi and Heather smiled. The music started,and the three of us started to dance,flip,and finally, the cheer.

" Fight! Fight! Got it? Alright! You're going to win,so why go and cry! Amazing? Yes! God said,"You're bless!" Better when this game, cause we know you passed the test!"

Keylan's mouth dropped open." She passed!" he said,loudly. His friends all frowned,but Justin was clapping. Keylan threw the football at his best friend. " What the--" said Justin. He.looked at Keylan. " Chill,bro! You don't have to treat Chrystene like trash all the time. Damn!" Heather grabbed a rock." You can't throw that rock all the way to the football field.", I said. Heather shrugged. " Doesn't matter.",she said,throwing the rock. Naomi smiled." That will hit Keylan. Watch.",she said. I smiled. The rock bounced on Keylan's head, and then the ground. " Ooo!" I said,laughing.

Ellis wrapped his arms abound me and kissed me. His lips were warm,and I thought I was in heaven. I smiled,leaning against his chest. " I love you.", I whispered. Ellis smiled." I love you more.",he said,his hand stroking my hair.

" Chrystene!" yelled Sara, my older cousin. " Wake up. Or,stop dreaming." I sat up,groaning. I was sitting in Sara's care,waiting for Amari, my younger sister." My head hurts.", I complained." And, you woke me up from a good dream." Sara rolled her eyes. " Who's Ellis?" she asked. I frowned." Huh?" Sara's eyes narrowed. " Who's Ellis?" I sighed. " A friend.", I told her." Where's Amari?" Sara pointed in the back of the car." I'm picking up Nicki(a older sister).",she said. " You sure love Ellis." I groaned." Sara rolled her eyes. " I saw your phone. 'Ellis 'is all over your home screen background.",she said." Is he sweet?" I blushed. "Yeah. He is.So ,what?" Nicki entered the car. " Ellis fever again?" she asked me. I nodded. Sara smiled. " Is he your boyfriend?" I frowned. " He should be.",remarked Nicki. I shot a look at her." If Ellis doesn't like him then he doesn't.", I said." Oh. So,you're okay with just being friends?" Sara asked. I nodded. Nicki looked out the window." She wish she was okay with it.",she muttered.

I skipped most of everything. I just really like Ellis. I mean, my feelings for Ellis really shouldn't mean nothing to him--or should it? He always says I'm beautiful,smart,and wonderful,but I don't seem worth it. He has a girlfriend(lucky her),but problems have stirred up. I feel like the cause,but he says I am not. Should I leave Ellis or stay?
