Christopher let out a sigh of relief as Robert began to gasp for air.

"I can't believe you put it there"he said with a wince
"And where else did you expect me to put it?"

He asked, completely relieved and let go of him. He collapsed beside his on the bed and gasped, still fearing that his best friend didn't return.

"What's wrong Robert? this is not normal"
"It's nothing Chris"he assure him looking away
"By God Robert! What did Evans do to you!"he began to scream and a murderous surge began to emanate against the culprit
"Nothing, that is, he left a couple of cuts, bruises and broken bones but only that"
"I'm not Tom, you don't have to defend him with me"he said taking one of his hands waiting for him to speak.

The chestnut bit his lip.

"Have you ever heard the phrase die from a broken heart, because apparently you can?"

Chris's face reflected his disbelief at those words.

"Apparently the absence of the person you love can kill you"
"That is impossible. There must be a reasonable explanation for this. Robert, please let me treat you"he almost begged him, surely his friend was lying, if that were true he would have died along with Elsa
"If that calms you it's fine, there are samples to be taken in the box on the left and Chris could help me, I'm cold"

The blue-eyed man nodded, and he help him take off his pants and then wrap him in the sheets, it was very normal that he was tired and cold after all he had returned from death. He take the blood sample and gently stroke his hair.

"I'm here for what they need"he assure him before leaving the room

And so the recording ends, leaving the room in a sepulchral silence.

-Robert-Christopher said trying to approach the appointed with tears in his eyes
-I don't want to see you-said pointing to him with his finger-I don't want to see you-said pointing to Thomas-With you I have no option-said pointing to his son

Both Chris and Tom left the house.

-Chris I ...- Evans began to say
-Robert is right you've done enough damage here-said coldly

The dark-haired man gave a sigh of regret and got on his motorcycle to retire from there.

-Chris I'm sorry ... leave me ...-began to try to explain the man with brown curls
-That's enough Thomas-

That left the appointed to stone, he had never called Thomas since they began to date and his voice sounded deadpan. He saw Christopher and it hurt him very much to see him, his face didn't reflect anything and in his eyes blue as the sky nothing was seen. He would have preferred a thousand times to shout at him or even to give him back the blow he gave him, but he didn't do any of that. He just went back to the house and closed the door. It hurt horribly, he knew that the feeling against love isn't hate is indifference and that was just what his boyfriend showed him indifference. He began to wander the streets of Paris aimlessly overwhelmed by his feelings. He had made a big mistake in letting his jealousy cloud his judgment, he had thrown Robert and hit Christopher and it wasn't just the blow he regretted, but the doubt of him. When he joined him he did ask his best friend's advice to go out with him and he had prevented his death. In that fake appointment he could fully notice the differences in how he treated him and how he treated the rest of the world, even when the brunette asked him to help him undress he took off his clothes how he had taken it off him. Never touched him inappropriately or passed his hands on the legs of the American for any purpose other than removing his pants so that he could sleep comfortably. Was afraid, afraid of having created a gap he couldn't solve, having lost his job, new friends and above all he was afraid of losing Chris, thinking of a life without those sincere smiles and those tender eyes would be a torment. Robert opened his eyes finding that Thomas was still curled up in his chest, stroking his brown hair carefully. His beloved son, the only reason why he didn't relapse into alcohol and drugs when Chris left them. Yesterday his husband returned in the least unexpected way, had fantasized about him coming back and explaining things, telling him that Sebastian was nothing, that he regretted his actions but came to ruin things even more, getting the Blonde into his family scandal and with it hurt even more the image that his son had of him. He would have liked that this fight never happened, that he never left his side because he thought their relationship would be forever. Because throughout his life there is only work as a distraction from drugs and during his addiction stage there was only senseless sex, but when he saw that blond soldier with a big heart he felt he wanted to know more about him, that he wanted him have close and thank he never had problems loving a man, love came up slowly and after hit and although it took a lot of work to make him accept his feelings since the captain was a man raised with the idea that the right thing for God It was the love between a man and a woman. When at last he managed to make their relationship emerge, Evans proposed marriage and within the happiness of his marital life he confessed his most intimate desire, have a child and adopted his beloved Tom. He gave him a gentle kiss on the forehead and carefully lifted off trying not to wake him up, his son needed to rest the shock of emotions for him to be exhausting. Under the stairs barefoot and in his pajamas, he found Christopher in the kitchen who wore black jeans and a beige shirt who was slaughtering a lettuce.
