Maddie was crying When she answered the phone. She didn't know what to say or think or even do at this point. All she could think about was talking to him. What would she do what would she say. The real thing that went through her mind is what would he say.
That was the first time she had said she loved him and she did it over text.
She answered on the third ring.
Daniel. Maddie
"Babe please don't do this."
"Daniel I can't."
"Maddie."
"Daniel if you can't even say it back why would I stay."
