I took my time getting home and when I got in the door of my mansion type house I slammed the door and prepared myself for one of the worst lectures of my life.
"Wren? Come here." Mum called from the dining room.
I dropped my bag and headed over to the dining room doorway.
Mum and Dad were sat at the end of the table, they looked pretty upset but even more angry.
"Wren, sit down." Dad muttered.
I sat down a seat away from Mum and looked at the table cloth.
"I can't believe you were stupid enough to get yourself expelled. Why Wren? Tell us why!" Mum sighed.
"Well I-" I began.
"Cheryl, let me handle this. Please. Wren, listen, I know that when Reece left us, it was very hard on you. Hell, it was hard on all of us!" Dad told me.
Mum winced at the world hell which I rolled my eyes at.
"You don't care. Reece died Dad, he died. He didnt leave us, he died and you acted like you didn't even give a shit." I could feel the tears starting to form in my eyes, as they always did when I talked about Reece.
"Wren! Mind your mouth! We had to get in with our lives! Your Mother is a well respected Lawyer who needed to buckle down and keep her head high to keep her job! And I am a head teacher at a boarding school! We had to get on with our lives." Dad told me.
Okay so you're probably sitting there like:
what the fuck
but basically, when I was 10, my brother Reece went to the park late at night cause we had a huge argument, he hated arguments so he went to cool off but was stabbed to the death on the way back home.
Reece was my best friend and easily my favourite person ever but he's gone, and all because of me. Fuck sake, he would be alive right now if it hadn't been for me. He would be having fun in college with all his mates, but no. I hate myself everyday because of it.
Thats when I became the way I am today; an emotionless bitch.
Thats me :)
"Wren?" Dad waved his hand in front of me and I suddenly had the urge to burst out crying but I stopped myself.
"You are starting the boarding school in three days, get packing." Dad told me where the suitcases were kept and I went to start packing.
I didnt actually know what I would need, so I packed everything clothes-wise. (apart from a hideous baby pink dress mum had bought me two years ago).
I then worked through my belongings, packing a few of my favourite books, dvds, shoes, make up and everything like that.
-----------------------------------
Three days went pretty fast and soon enough I was being picked up in a black car and driven to the school.
After about two hours of driving, the car stopped.
I took a deep breath, going over all of my plans to get expelled.
1: kill my Dad.
2: burn down the school
3: piss off the teachers so they complain about me.
Number 3 seemed like the easiest, it would probably be more fun for me as well to be honest.
I looked up and out of the car window, the school was this huge building with two other buildings next to it and another one across the field. The buildings were all made out of the same red/brown bricks and had big wooden doors.
