'i just confessed! Oh no!' Lucy thought
"This sounds like a confession Luce" Natsu said. "I umm....it-Its not wh-what you think!" Lucy said waving her hands in the air

'how can I make him think that it's not a confession! Oh I know!' Lucy thought, Lucy began laughing "I'm just messing with ya!"

Natsu joins in the laughing except his is kind of weak, "I knew that! I was just milking it!" Natsu said "yeah! Like I would ever like you that way!" Lucy says laughing but really was wanting to cry.

"Yeah! And like I would like you that way either!" Natsu said laughing weakly and Lucy began laughing weakly aswell. They were both hurting by what they said but didn't want to show it.

Natsu's POV

'She's never gonna love me? That hurt, I want her to love me' natsu thought "hey natsu do you still love Lucy from highschool" lucy asked

'do i?... actually I still do...but I also love lucy now.' natsu thought "yeah" I replied and she just smiled

Lucy's POV

"Yeah" he replied, I then smiled knowing he loves me even though he doesn't know it's me. 'maybe I should drop hints that I'm Lucy from highschool!' Lucy thought

I was then pulled out of my thoughts when I heard happy yell "why!!!!" "What's wrong with you?" I asked him "why do you still love that Lucy but not this Lucy! By the way you talk about that Lucy she sounds the same as this Lucy!" Happy yelled

'this is the perfect moment to drop a hint! Well I use to do this a lot in highschool so hopefully he remembers!' Lucy thought

"Hmph! Like j would date pinky!" I said crossing my arms "see! She even does what that Lucy did!" Happy said pointing at me, I then giggle at how adorable happy is being.

"What?" Happy asked "nothing, your just so cute!" I said, I grabbed happy and hugged him gently as I messed with his fur. "That feels nice!" Happy said "really?" Natsu asked "yup!" Happy replied before falling asleep on my lap.

I then looked at natsu and I began to mess with his hair. I was a bit far from natsu so I scooted next him trying not to wake up happy. I was successful and happy was still sleeping while I messed with natsu's hair.

'wow, his hair is suprisingly soft' I thought. I was lost in thought until I heard snoring, I saw natsu snoring with his head dangling. I carried happy to the bottom left corner of the bed and covered him with a blanket

I layer him down and put his head on my lap and continued to play with his hair. After a few minutes happy woke up and asked "how long was i asleep?" "About 15 minutes" I whispered making sure not to wake up natsu.

"Why are you whispering?" Happy whispered back, I then pointed at natsu sleeping and happy made a "O" face. I gently put natsu's head on the bed and stood up. I looked at happy and said "hey you want to help me go grocery shopping, we can get some fish while we're there.

Happy flew out the door and said "what are we waiting for!" I giggled and walked out the door closing it behind me.

Time skip to after their done buying

We arrived at the door of my apartment. Happy knocked but no one came to the door, "I guess he's still asleep" I said and I was able to open the door knob.

I faced my back to the door and used my butt to push the door open. When I did that I heard someone say "Luce why is your butt near my umm...man part?" The person asked

"Natsu?! I thought you were still asleep!" I shouted, I then realized natsu was only in a towel and he was soaked! The water dripping from his fell onto his shoulders then chest then abbs.
