Meg rubbed her eyes, feeling tears beginning to spike up after remembering the events of the past night.
The problem was probably that they weren't together. They were on and off, and unofficial. Their friends had all tried to pair them up with other people during their fights, but by the time they managed to find someone they were already back together and probably kissing in the back of his car.
She had been talking to him, Levi, and had mentioned that her friend was trying to take her on a blind date with another one of their friends. She hadn't meant to upset him, Meg had only been discussing the events of her day. And no matter how often she apologized, she felt that nothing would be the same again.
L - so he's setting you up? what are you going to say?
M - well he's trying to. but idk, ive got two options.
M - i can tell him that i am 'madly in love with you' or tell him that 'you're madly in love with me and i don't want to hurt you' but i have to tell him now, and that's why im telling you this (if he asks you about it). i mean im not sure where we stand on this in real life but yeah

They didn't have much in common. She was patient, and analytical (and a bit insecure), while he was more persistent, and witty. The one thing they shared though, was their love for each other. It was always full of passion, and devotion.
He had always been his own person. Not so much independent, as original. He didn't like their generation much, how they had grown to talk more over the Internet than in person, and how having feelings meant you were emotional and over sensitive. He was free spirited, always had been.
She was more of a follower. She would listen, and do what was asked and not much more. There wasn't much to her, and she knew it too. Being around others gave her her own personality, and being around him meant being someone else.
They were always at each other's houses, listening to music or lying with each other in the grass. It was a best friend type relationship, until an argument began. There was nothing to the disagreements, just sharp tone and Meg taking it harder than she should've, which usually just made it worse.
Our couple had been close to calling it quits a few times, but they somehow managed to keep themselves together.
The silent treatment only lasted up to about a week, usually a couple days.
But it hurt none the less.
Meg grabbed her phone, turning it on.
"No new messages."
She sighed once again, grabbing a fresh hoodie and heading out her bedroom door.
