Maybe He Likes Me

Perrie's POV

"Class I'm going to need you guys to write an essay on why college is important with your partners." Mrs. Rose said.

"No!" I accidentally said out loud.

"You don't want to work with me do you? Oh sorry I forgot you're mad at me for what happened in the hallway." Zayn said in such a diva voice. I turned around and looked at him now pissed off.

"Yeah I am mad that you have do be such a dick head. " I snapped back and looked at him not caring if he gave me another one of his evil eyes. He turned around and gave me a fake surprise look and said,

"Oh god I can't believe you just said that to me, oh wait I don't care." Zayn said in his diva voice again rolling his eyes. I was about to answer him when I heard Louis said, "Mrs. Rose, Zayn and Perrie are having relationship problems!"

"Yes we are having relationship problems do you have a problem with that Louis?" Zayn asked in a sassy voice.

"Oh so you have a crush on Perrie? Aww, how cute!" Louis said happily.

"Maybe." Zayn said in a flirty voice.

I stood there shocked at what Zayn had just said. Did he really mean that or was he just saying that to get Louis to shut up? Everyone then stopped talking and I got a piece of paper and started writing without talking to Zayn.

After first period I went to my second class glad to know that Zayn wasn't going to be there but Jade was. Jade has long light brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. This time class went by fast that it didn't even felt like it was the first day of school. Jade always made me forget about all my problems no matter how bad they were.

It was finally lunch time and I was walking towards my locker when I saw that Zayn had his locker right next to mine. I was going to ask Jade to let me put my stuff in her locker but she was long gone. I had no choice but go to my locker. I walked by trying my best to act as if Zayn wasn't even there. I opened my locker and then I heard myself ask Zayn, "Did you meant what you said in first period? Or did you said that to get Louis to shut up?"

"I said that to get Louis to shut up." Zayn answered and walked away. I didn't think he's words would hurt me but they did. I though just maybe Zayn would actually have a crush on me but why would he? Why would he like me when there's other pretty girls?

I started walking my way to the cafeteria and sat down next to Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne.

"What's wrong Perrie?" Jesy asked.

"Nothing I'll be fine." I said. I stayed quiet the whole time. I laid my head on the table and saw Zayn sitting with Ariana and Harry. You could tell Ariana was flirting with Zayn and that he liked it.

I was standing on my locker when Zayn came. As soon as he came I shut my locker as hard as I could and walked towards the exit.

I finally got home after a long walk from school. Before I could open the door my mom did.

"Hey Perrie! How was school?" my mother asked.

"Bad." I said and went inside.

"Why? Did you meet the bad boy I told you about?" she asked.
