This story I'm about to tell you is not for readers who are afraid of the evil that lurks in the darkness. This story of mine is a story about sorrow, hatred, destiny, friendship, love, bravery and pain.

My inspiration comes from my Mother Jennifer. Also Special thanks to Abby Gregory, Kendall McCloskey, and Sam Detgen

The Families Past

It's 12:00 pm on this glorious day but you hear this

“Fire, death by fire” said the head judge of the court.

John Owen my husband and I both cried and begged for a new trial, the court continued

“your death will be tomorrow morning after Saturn's reaping.”

I gasped “what no you can't I'm pre…”

“You’re what Mrs. Owen?” asked the Head of the court.

“I'm… it's… um… it's our anniversary.” I said as I moved my long red hair from my face.

John loosened up as he ran his fingers through his spickish brunette hair, let out a sigh of relief and asked “are we dismissed?”

The Head judge banged his mallet and declared “court dismissed.”

After everyone left; John took me the sobbing wife out of the court house. We walked through the village for fifteen minutes before we reached the edge of the forest.

I stopped and said “even though we are what they blame us to be… being witches.”

I began to cry again. John without a second thought made a beautiful blue rose magically appear. I smile showing my bright white crooked smile

“How did you know blue was my favorite color?” I asked sweetly. I let a shaken breath escaped me “John what are we going to do about our baby?”

 “I don't know … I really don't know” replied John.

We began to walk again and for ten minutes they came onto a patch. There was a beautiful weeping willow swaying over a quaint little cottage.

The cottage was white with green ivy growing over it and with a tan roof. The willow tree produced beautiful colored flowers on its vines. I stopped five feet away from the cottage; my eyes were looking at it, I was going to etch it into my memory. A tear slid down my face as I shakily inhaled, John came up and put his hand on my shoulder. I turned to meet his big brown eyes and John to see my beautiful turquoise eyes.

We both smiled at each other

“let's go inside you two” said John as he opened the door for me, his pregnant wife.

I rubbed my stomach and smiled even more “yes let's.”

I walked in, “it's 12:30 and the baby is due in three months but she won’t live to be birthed” With a sigh of grief following after.

John walked over and gave me a big hug to cheer me up.

I laughed “I'm glad I met you that fateful day; my love.”

I went to the door.I grabbed the basket off the hook.

“Where are you going Sarah?” asked john.

I turned with a big smile on my face.

“I'm going to make the greatest meal you ever had and in order to do that I need fresh herbs and spices.”

John with a wave of his hand giving me the ok said “have fun and be careful please!”

I left with the crooked smile, that I only showed John.  I walked for a few minutes to a gorgeous field with wild colors being swayed by the wind. I began to walk down to a less colorful patch.
