I wake up in the morning, well, roughly three hours later. Not much sleep, but hey, Scott Stiles and I pulled all-nighters all the time. So did Danny and I. So, y'know, no biggie.
It takes me about five minutes to get ready. I slip on my sweatshirt from last night. Thankfully, there are no tears, and it doesn't smell like blood. I slip on a pair of ripped jeans. I braid my hair off to the side and slip on a pair of black flats.
I go outside and bike all the way to school not having the patience to wait for Stiles to pick me up. I get to the school fifteen minutes early. Stiles and Scott are just pulling up. I meet them at the doors.
I launch myself at Scott. He looks really surprised, but hugs me back nonetheless.
"I thought you were dead!! I heard you yell! Oh gosh!"
"We thought you were dead! there was a big black spot where you were and your t-shirt in rags!" Scott exclaims.
"Well, I'm alive!" I unwind myself out of Scott's embrace. Stiles gives me a quick hug and proceeds to ask a question from Scott.
"So, Scott, are you going to show us?"
"What does Scott have to show us?"
"I guess Scott got bitten last night. He wants to show us. Right Scott?"
He lifts up his shirt to show a huge bandage on his side. So that's why he yelled.
"That's crazy, look at this." I take off my sweatshirt, leaving me in only a tank top and bra. The boys gape a little bit.
"The bandage, not my boobs." I tease them. They shake their head, embarrassed.
"Did you get bit too?" Scott asks.
"No shit Sherlock. Gosh. Sometimes I wonder how we became friends."
"What was it?" Stiles asks in awe.
"A wolf." Scott and I say simultaneously.
"That's impossible."
Scott opens his mouth to argue, but I cut him off, pulling my sweatshirt back over my head. "Scott, I know what I saw, and it looks like a wolf, but there hasn't been wolves in California for sixty years."
"Then neither of you will believe me when I say that I found the dead body."
"You what?!?!?!?!?!" Stiles exclaims.
"You're kidding." I say.
"I wish. I'm going to have nightmares for months." Scott shivers dramatically, trying to prove a point.
"Is that why you yelled? Or was it the giant wolf thing?"
"Ummm.... both?" He responds.
Stiles and I sigh at our best friend, and we walk into the school.
We grab and compare out schedules. We only have English, chemistry, and first lunch together.

Algebra TwoJoy. I walk to my locker, next to Isaac, and I shove my book bag in.
"Have a good day, Little bro."
"I will try. Not." We snort, and I head over to Scott's locker.
"- the best thing since the birth of Lydia Martin. Hey Lydia, you look- like you're gonna ignore me. Okay." Stiles is talking as I walk up to them. They are both facing opposite of me, so I sneak up behind them and do my best old creepy dude voice.
"Well hello there sonny!" I put a hand on each of their shoulders, and they each jump about ten feet in the air. I laugh as they begin to huff at me.
Stiles looks at me. "Why would you do that? That is so mean!" He then looks at Scott and points an accusing finger at him.
"This is all your fault. You have dragged me down to your nerd depths. I wouldn't be a nerd if it wasn't for you! I'm a nerd by association! I've been scarlet nerded!"
"What about Ali?"
I raise my hand and kind of point a the ceiling. "It really is true. I'm actually friends with Lydia, and you are friends with Stiles. As in, Stiles is your only friend."
"What about you?" He sounds very confused at the moment.
"We are more like brother and sister. Like me and Issac. Except for the fact that we have totally different last names."
He shrugs. "Point taken."
We head off to English class, getting there just before the bell rings. The teacher starts talking, and a phone begins to blare, a loud sound, like so loud that you should probably cover your ears.
I look around, and find Scott doing the same. We make eye contact, realizing that we are the only ones that heard it.
"Gosh darn it, I can't believe that I forgot a pencil on my first day. I never do that!"
I look around the room again, searching for the mystery voice. Just then, the door opens, and the principal walks in with a girl. She's pretty, and I can tell she's new.
She walks up to the front of the class with the principal, and introduces her.
"Say hello to Allison Argent. She is new, and I hope you all make her fell welcome."
She heads back to the seat next to me. I realize its the only one available. Next to me, and in front of Scott. I see him sneaking little glances at her, completely smitten already.
He reaches over her shoulder and hands her a purple pen. I smile at his awkward attempt at flirting.
I then remember about how only Scott and I heard her quietly mentioned plight. From the hallway.
What's happening to me?
