Another Day...?

"Amythest no," I was rudely awoken by someone taking my pillow from beneath me, and beating me with it. Amythest, was the only person I thought would come into my room and do such thing, but a low chuckle, said differently. I turned my head to my alarm, and was shocked. He stood towering over me, with my pillow tucked under his arm, and a charming smirk on his perfectly formed face, blue eyes, but...green hair...? Low shaved at the side and swept over the side to slightly cover his right eye. I had to rub my eyes, I didn't think I was really awake. "Morning sunshine," heavenly voice. Wait what? No, Mark, just remember Mark. "Name's Sean, I'm your trainer for your time here. Time to get ready, I'll take you around the castle with the rest of them, then we will proceed to training, get ready. I'll be waiting outside." With that, he left. He seemed like a really....cool guy. I definitely didn't think he was cute or anything. Stretching I rolled around in the sheets a little more and then left to get ready. As expected he stood leaning against the side of my door, hands folded and one foot against the wall, cliche much? "Ready?" He said, "I don't have a choice," he chuckled and nodded. He pushed himself off and lead me down the huge hallway, where servants and guards bustled up and down. It seemed as if they were getting ready for some party or feast or something, after all I got a William Shakespeare vibe from all of this, especially the way they talked.

The hall was wide and the ceiling was high, my head rocked all the way back just to get a glimpse of it. Paintings of women and men heading towards each other in battle, one army stood white and powerful, while the other raged with red and just as powerful. " Queen Avia, such a pain. You know, you look a lot like her," he noticed me admiring the ceiling, but the last few words startled me, I couldn't help but snort. I rolled my eyes, and Sean noticed, "I'm serious, the same lips, same feline eyes, perfect body, heartless emotion," he stepped closer to me, our lips inches apart and I felt his hot breath on my cheeks.

"Sean William!" Someone shouted, taking his gaze off of me and looking over me, my face now close to his chest, I stepped out. And slapped myself mentally for letting him get so close. Leaning against the wall, I remained emotionless, when he got so close, I tried so hard not to panic, instead I kept a serious and unbothered look on my face. Sean talked and rambled with the guy who had called him, I could care less. Their voices muffled behind me as I tried to blank them out and look at the ground, but Sean wasn't gonna let that happen. His fingers wrapped around my chin and slightly pulled my face up to look at him, "Let's get going darling," again, he smirked and dropped his hand from my face. If he was gonna be my trainee, this wasn't going to cut it.

"Aye, hot shot," he stopped in his tracks and faced me, I pushed off and crossed my arms over my chest, quietly strolling to him.

"Yes," I couldn't help but laugh at this guy, thinks he could push me around, I'm his little puppet. Funny. A low laugh escaped as my head dropped to the fall, something fell over me, hatred, anger, bloodlust, all of it hit me at once. And suddenly, I held Sean by his collar, lifting him off the ground and slamming him on the ground, I was on top of him and my hands dangled around his neck, my thumbs pressing on his adam's apple. Servants dropped their trays and guards yelled at me to back off, but they didn't bug me, as if they were afraid to touch me, their voices became static and I only focused on Sean.

"Don't you ever  think I'm your little play thing, you are my trainee and nothing more, you will help me get my Mark back and that's it. You have no power over me you piece of shit,"

"Claire Oaks,"  Amythest screamed. I growled and Sean squirmed under me, fighting for air. Getting up, Sean took in a deep breath and coughed vigorously, I didn't feel the slightest tinge of regret, only victory. The sound of Amythest stomping heels boomed through the hall and everyone went silent, eyes were glued onto me as if I was some alien, she grabbed my arm and pulled me away. "Its okay, Claire. You'll fall for me one day or another!" Sean shouted after me, before I could reply, Amythest slapped her hand over my mouth and continued to drag me. After a few twists and turns, we reached a large wooden door, sealed shut with giant latches. Amythest let go of me and made a gesture for me to remain quiet and not move. She placed her hand on one of the latches and spoke in a strange language under her breath. A blue, sparkling mist swarmed around her hand and around the latches. She stepped back and I followed her closely. I wasn't surprised anymore, I knew what she was capable of, maybe not everything, but enough to know what to expect. The latches, slowly untangled themselves with booming noises and the large door creaked open. Amythest lead me into the room, it was a candle lit room, with a large but shallow pool in the middle, rose petals floated at the top and a silk curtain was drapped along it.

"What is this place?" I looked in awe at the marble walls and tiled floors, it reminded me of the Greek rituals they had for the children born of Goddesses.

"Sean was right Claire," I rolled my eyes at the sound of his name, and clenched my hand into fists.

"You look like Queen Avia's lost daughter,"

"That's impossible,"

"Claire, where is your mother?"

"She went missing when I was 5," there's no way.

"There was a prophecy, that if she was to have a child. That her child will grow to be more beautiful and powerful than her. Queen Avia always thought of herself as the most powerful and beautiful of all, and the thought of anyone over powering her filled her with rage, she soon had a baby girl and every time she looked at her she felt hatred and anger as much as she wanted to kill her she couldn't. But in an effort to take away her rage, she killed her husband and banished the child into the world." Amythest voice was like honey, but her words pierced my heart like a dagger, my throat felt tight and my hands quivered. She continued, "When our Queen found out about this, she decided to set her warriors on a search to find this lost child and make her one of us, hoping she would help us win this endless war. Every possible human was put under what you have been through and put under a series of test. Which means Claire you will be one of the first, when she picked you, her hopes were high and still are. That is why she sent Sean to you, that was one of the test, she wanted to know if he could sway you, and if you had, well her hopes would've been crushed, but you didn't and now she would like to meet y-" she was cut off by a sudden voice the echoed through the room, and sending shivers down my spine.

"O how long have I searched for you my dearest."
