As I open the door, the small bells on the door ring softly, like baby birds chirping. I'm suddenly blasted cold, fresh air with a coffee sent; I start to relax and feel safe.
I order a small iced coffee, just to cool off from everything that's happened today. I pay the cash register, then sit down at a small table in the corner. I take a long, slow sip as I let the cool coffee drift around my mouth. I finish it off slower and slower with each, long, time consuming sips. After drinking it all I decide to munch on the remaining ice cubes.
It feels cozy here. I don't want to leave.
I get up and start making my way back home. Today was quite long, so I'm worn out.
When I make it home, I open the door. I'm welcomed home with a sight that I see more often than not.
•Bonjour, Mon Amis! So, I know that it's extremely short, but I am working on two other stories. Please hang tight!
On one of the stories, it goes into some sensitive topics, and it's called "Period." So if you're sensitive to it, then don't read it! It's fine. The other one is about a girl who is in love with another. How nice.
Anyways, have a nice day to all of you! Au Revoir! -Saam•
