Adrien's POV:

"Nathaniel," I whispered loudly. I stared until it seemed weird. What am I doing. Look away, look away. I looked at his velvet hair. My dad started to stare me down. He gave me a look. A look that said why are-you-staring-at-the-heir-of-England? I look down from my beautiful Nathaniel covered in diamonds. As I look downs at my mismatched clothes, I hear another door open. It was Chloe.

As I see my classmate, my jaw drops.

Standing in the doorway was Chloe. She was wearing a beautiful dress. It was yellow with black accents. She had her head up high; looking for someone. The new prince of England.

Chloe's POV:

-Flashback-

I started to walk down a corridor that has been lavished with purplish-red carpet. The many windows had glistened with the beautiful sunset. I see a huge door of gold paint that had stayed there till me and my dad had made it to the first room of the house.

My dad had pulped me of to the side. "Now Chloe," he had said in a stern voice, "This is a very, very important thing we are about to do. If you mess this up, you won't be a princess and the two countries will be at war.. So you need to be one you best behavior. Okay?"

I talk very girly like; what I imagine a princess would sound like. "Yes, Daddy!" I smiled elegantly. "I understand!"

-Back to Normal Time-

Before I opened the door I had dust off my dress and made sure that it was perfect. As that had happened, I kept thinking that I had to do my best and couldn't mess this up.

I walked through the door of gold.

I see Adrien; then, the new prince of England. I stop and look in the beautiful dining lavished in more elegant gold, with accents of red and black. I pay attention to Adrien and see him staring at Nathaniel for a long time. He was a mismatch of white and black with a blue beret almost identical to the Prince's eyes. And Nathaniel in a white creme cape that resembled Adrien's hair and green jewels with a hint of blue. They were into each other; I could tell.

Under my breath, so that nobody could hear, I whispered, "Faggots...."

Nathaniel's POV:

I stepped away from Adrien, sitting next to him. Finally, dinner was served. They were French delishes and English royalties.

I took a break from eating, gently putting both of my hands in my lap. Adrien shifted a little and had moved his hand closer to me. Inch by inch, centimeter by centimeter, his hand approached my lap. Finally, he reached my finger, and, ever so carefully, he intertwined our fingers without anyone noticing. I looked down in surprise, then up at Adrien. He was giving me the sweetest smile, with bright white teeth and green, sparkling eyes.

Adrien's POV:

-Timeskip-

After dinner, I took Nathaniel out to the park of Paris. It was hard too, of course. Nobody wanted us to go. The only resolution we could come to was that we could go if Chloe came with us.

So, of course, while me and Nathaniel were trying to have our first, romantic date (the one where Nathaniel's parents died doesn't count), Chloe was trying to steal Nathaniel away from me, so they could talk. Every time she had done that I had gave her the meanest look I could muster. She would stop then start over and over again. Finally, I had had enough. I turn edbehind and look at her.

"Please, please don't follow use. I'm trying to talk to him and this might be the last time I can."

She looks at me with the worst face ever. "You think I want to be out here? You think that I want to be with nathaniel? The only reason I'm out her is because of my dad. He wants me to marry the prince so that we can become alibis and we can live happily in harmony. I don't want to date him or marry him." she exploded with anger and just didn't stop until she had started to cry.

Nathaniel ran over. "What's going one? Is she hurt? Did something happen?" asked Nathaniel. Me and Chloe gave him the most serious look, telling him to back out, this was a private conversation. So he did.

Nathaniel POV:

I had walked away when they had given me the look. I walked off to sit by a fountain to look at my old city with a smile. I hear them both fighting in the background and tune them out. Stopping to look behind me, I saw that Chloe had gotten up.. Adrien was cleaning her off. And she had started to walk home. Adrien gave another one of those blissful smiles. And his green eyes had just glown in the nights' light. It was more of a shining emerald.

He had ran over to me. "Is everything okay?" he asked, worried.

"What about you? What were you and Chloe talking about?" I asked, a bit worried. Shaking his hand, he smiled at me. He took hold off my hand again. I looked at his glorious sky with they bright stars and a blood full moon. We ended up sitting there for about an hour. That hour was possibly the best hour in my life.
