Chapter 2

Your POV

A while went by and my eyes were closed until I heard.

Marshadow: Hey....(Y/N) your arms are trapping me....

Me: O-oh sorry! 

I unwrap my arms from Marshadow. Marshadow gets up and looks around.

Me:  Whatcha doing?

Marshadow: Just looking around.......hey, are you hungry?

Me: Yeah.....

Marshadow: Stay here I'll be back.

I wait for Marshadow to return. After a while he returns, he also has something. He has apples! 

Marshadow: I found some apples, here.

Marshadow hands me an apple.

Me: Thanks!

Marshadow sits down next to me and we eat the apples. I lean my head on Marshadow's shoulder. We finish our apples Marshadow just stares at the distance. After a long moment of just silence a bush starts to move.

Me: What's that?

Marshadow: Not sure but let's not stay to find out

After Marshadow says that the Houndour I bumped into jumped out of the bush. 

Houndour: You stay RIGHT there!

Me: What do want from us?

The Houndour circled around me and Marshadow. Marshadow didn't even look at the Houndour.

Houndour: You see, my dad's pack is hungry. I told my dad I was gonna help find food, and we can't live off of berries you see. So you two are coming with me.

Marshadow: Or what?

Marshadow was still looking at the ground. The Houndor reveals his fangs while growling.

Houndour: Don't give me attitude runt! If you don't come with me then things'll get messy. 

Marshadow: I see then. We aren't going.

The Houndour doesn't like Marshadow's answer and gets ready to bite Marshadow. Marshadow doesn't seem to try to dodge it but the second Houndour bites Marshadow's arm Houndour flings back.

Houndour: Counter, that's such a cheap move. Hows about you fight back?

I can tell Marshadow doesn't want to fight just by the look in his eyes. So instead of fighting Marshadow grabs my arm and starts running in another direction.

Me: WHERE ARE WE GOING!?

Marshadow: Somewhere.

Me: WHERE!?!?!

Marshadow: Away from him. Away from here.

Houndour: GET BACK HERE PUNK!

Houndour charges after us. All of a sudden we are at a dead end with no where to go and Houndour walking at us.

Marshadow: aw shi-

Houndour: ENOUGH! You're coming with me either you like it or not!

Marshadow: Look, go find someone else to eat plus what are you gonna do? It's two against one! 

Houndour howls and two more Houndour come. They look threatening, angry, and hungry.

Me: Marshie! what are we gonna do?

Marshadow: I, uh, don't know.

I couldn't do anything all I know is tackle, but tackle will have to work. With the three Houndour closing in on us I tackled the one that called the other two. That caused the other two to dive at me scratching and biting me. I thought that it was then end for me when the scratching and biting stopped. I had my eyes closed so they wouldn't scratch my eyes. All I heard were whimpers and then someone scooped me up.

???: (Y/N) are you okay? Come on (Y/N) open your eyes. I need an answer (Y/N)! Say something!

I finally opened my eyes. It was Marshadow. He saved me again.

Me: H-hey.....

Marshadow: You're okay! I thought you died!

Me: No n-not yet.

Marshadow: Don't worry I'll take you to someone, someone who can help, I swear!

I passed out. When I woke I saw an Audino.

Audino: Oh good you're awake now your friend can stop worrying.

Me: W-where am I?

Audino: My den! Your friend, oh what was his name? Marshmallow? 

Me: Marshadow?

Audino: Yes, yes he'll be pleased to know you're okay. Now come with me I'll take you to him.

The Audino took me to Marshadow. He got up quickly and ran to me. Marshadow wrapped his arms around me.

Marshadow: You're okay!

Me: Yeah I'm fine-

Marshadow: What were you thinking?!

Me: Huh?

Marshadow: You just jumped at that Houndour like that? Are you crazy?

Me: Marshie, if I didn't do that we would of been their lunch!

Marshadow: *sigh* I guess you're right...

Me: Thanks so much Audino, we owe you.

Audino: Oh it's fine and you don't owe me anything it's my pleasure to help!

Me: Wow, t-thanks!

Audino: No problem, maybe we'll see each other again some other day.

Me: Bye!

Me and Marshadow leave Audino's den we walked in complete silence until Marshadow said.

Marshadow: Soooo, I'm Marshie now?

Me: Wha- Oh! I- uh, I just- can we talk about something else?

Marshadow: Heh, sure whaaatever 

I can't believe I called Marshadow Marshie and he remembered it. That was embarrassing.
