(Bedroom, Zoe and Alfie)
Zoe: hello everybody, me and Alf are finally back on YouTube. We have to show you something that we have kept largely secret over the past three weeks. We just wanted to say thank you in advance to those of you that will respect our choice.
Alfie: yeah. I mean, this has been huge for us, and it truly means a lot.
Zoe: well, we would like you to meet Leah!
(Leah jumps into frame and then sits on the bed)
Alfie: now, you're probably wondering who this is...
Zoe: we've adopted!!!
Leah: yeah, I'm part of the sugg-deyes family now!!! How awesome is that!
Alfie: it was a long time of preparing things and making decisions, but we decided to adopt instead of try for a baby or anything like that.
Zoe: i don't know why, because we could try for a baby if we wanted to buy we thought it would be better for us and Leah if we adopted someone.
Alfie: well leah... So you think you can explain the story to us? I mean, only if you're up for it?
(Leah takes a deep breath)
Leah: yeah... I think I can...
(She sighs)
Leah: well, i grew up by the both of my parents in a average sized house. My parents treated me with love, care and respect... Er, so you mind if I have a moment... This is the first time I've talked about it since it happened....
(Her voice some out into murmurs s she walks out of the room and Alfie switches the camera off. They come back, all of them with tear-stained faces. Zoe has her arm round Leah and is stroking her hair whilst Alfie is holding her hand and stroking it with his thumb.)
Zoe: you ready to carry on?
Leah: yeah, I th-think so. Er, well, my parents were the best. They treated me the right way, they comforted me when I was sad, which was all the time pretty much. I basically had no friends at school, I was the weird one and I didn't have any friends, not even one. When I went up into year seven, the first year of high school it was even harder. I knew almost everybody, but they were the ones making me feel bad. I tried making friends but it didn't work. My parents would always be there when they found me on my bed crying when they got back from work.
(Leah looks up to the ceiling, trying to stop the years falling from her eyes but it doesn't work.)
Leah: one d- day i came home from school and heard the doorbell ring. I thought it was my parents, but it was the police. Th-they told me the news that my parents.......
(Leah turns away. Alfie shuts the camera off again, however this time they come back with fresh, happy faces.
Zoe: ok, so we've freshened up and were all ready to show you our journey.
(Cuts to a clip of Zoe and Alfie talking to the people at the orphanage... Telling the camera about leah.... The first shopping trip... Leah's reaction to the house... Leah's reaction to her room... Showing her the office... And back to the video.)
Zoe: so yeah everyone, we've adopted!!!
Alfie: don't forget to like and subscribe if you liked this video!
Leah: if this video gets 500k likes then I will start some social media platforms, especially YouTube!
Altogether: byeeeeeeeee!!
A/n: hey kwens, I don't even know why I said that, but I guess it's just an inside joke between me and my friend. Anyway, did ya enjoy it? I haven't uploaded in a while but who really cares, nobody actually reads this fanfic, but if you do then I'm sorry.
By the way, there will definitely be more drama in chapters to come so don't worry.
