Chapter 1

General P.O.V

The noisy, drunk guild of Magnolia was as loud as ever. Especially today. It was the harvest festival again and everyone was preparing for the Fantasia parade. Lexia would be participating this time, instead of trying to destroy the town. There would also be one other who didn't participate last year.

"Come on Gajeel." Levi whined as he held his girlfriend. "Please." She pouted. "No way, I don't like being the center of attention." He couldn't help but grin. "Shoobedobop!" she frowned and punched him hard. "Ass!" he laughed. "I thought it was lovely." "Liar." he grinned. "Yeah okay, it could use some work."

"What are you guys talking about?" Natsu hopped up onto their table. "I'm trying to talk Gajeel into joining the parade." Natsus eyes lit up. "Yeah come on! I know just the thing!!" Natsu grabbed Gajeels hand, dragging her away from Levi. "Stop Natsu!"she cried. Levi laughed as the girls disappeared. "What are you laughing at?" His best friend Luke asked as he walked up to him."Your girlfriend just kidnapped mine." Luke joined in the laughter.

"Come on, we need to finish the floats." Levi nodded and joined his friend.

Gajeel P.O.V

"No way in hell." I said as Natsu held up the costume. "Oh come on! You'll look so pretty!" "Not a chance." Natsu pouted. "Gray!" "Eh?!" Gajeel was suddenly jumped by Gray and they forced her into the costume. "I will kill you!"

Levi P.O.V

The parade was fantastic. I used my words to shoot of fireworks beside Luke, who used his keys to shot off brilliant lights. I scanned the parade line for Gajeel and when I found her I grinned. The girls had talked her into the ribbon dancing.

She wore a short pink dress that has a white skirt. Her long legs were bare and they even managed to get her in heels. Her long hair was pulled into a bun and, though I'm sure she had put up a fight, a smile was plastered to her face.

Natsu, Lexia and Juliet were dancing with her, each of then shooting off bits of magic with each flourish. Ahead I could see Gray and Jove doing their ice and water routine from last year, well, 7 years ago.

I shot off more fireworks as we neared the end. Back at the guild everyone was celebrating and drinking. I found Gajeel and swooped her into my arms, startling her. "Jerk!" "You look lovely." I grinned as she blushed. I gave her a peck on the lips before setting her down.

There were still loud explosions from fireworks outside as we all cheered and celebrated. After it was long after midnight we walked home. I carried her on my back, as she was too drunk to walk. "Look Lev Lev, pretty lights!" she cooed. I couldn't help but laugh, drunk Gajeel was a riot.

"Fireworks Gajeel." she shook her head and pointed into the distance. At first I didn't see it, but then I saw the white flashing into the sky. It was too quiet and consistent for fireworks, like a signal. I frowned, "So pretty!" Gajeel slurred and I rolled my eyes. I would worry about it later.
