Chapter 2

Natsu P.O.V

"Have you guys seen Gajeel?" Levi asked as he approached our table. "Not since last night when you two left. Why?" I asked. "She was gone this morning when I woke up."

"Maybe she finally got tired of that monstrous snoring of yours." Luke mumbled around a mouth of food. Levi rolled his eyes. "Ha ha." "She didn't go on a job did she?" "Morrow says he hasn't seen her in the guild all morning. And Lily was still at the house too." He frowned.

"I'm sure she'll turn up." I grinned. He nodded but the worry never left his face. I pulled him down on the bench and stuffed a left over cookie from the night before into his mouth. "She's a big girl and can take care of herself" He sighed and munched on the cookie.

"You look like such a lost puppy! Be a man like my brother!" A tall white haired woman shouted. She was known as Amazon Elfie. She was buff for a woman and freakishly tall. "Shut up!" Levi shouted. "You wanna go?!" she shouted.

I lept to my feet. "I'll take ya you ape!" The scrap didn't last long and when I returned to the table Levi was gone.

The doors creaked open and an elderly man walked in. Ehren made his way to the man. "Can I help you sir?" The old man nodded. "I hope so. There seems to be someone causing trouble on town. I believe it might be one of your friends." Ehren turned towards us. "Natsu, Gray and Luke lets go!" We got up and followed Ehren into town.

We could hear the large commotion coming from the river. We hurried around the corner, but scattered as a pillar was sent flying at us. An iron pillar.

"What the hell?" I shouted. Gajeel pulled her arm back in as she grinned at us. She looked like a mad woman. She was still in her pjs but they were torn and her hair was everywhere. Cuts marred her skin and blood covered her clothes. Then there were her eyes. Instead of the normal crimson, they were solid white. No pupil. She shouted a battle cry as she shot her iron pillar forward again.

I lept to the side, nearly ending up in the river. "Gajeel stop this!" I turned to see Levi had arrived. She looked to him and growled, no like she normally did, but like a predator. Her arm morphed into a sword and shot straight at him. He dashed at her, dodging just in time to avoid a fatal blow.

He jumped at her, cloths lining her and knocking her to the ground. He quickly wrapped an arm around her, pinning her arms to her side and pinned her legs with his own. "What the hell is going on?"I shouted. Levi shook his head. "I have no idea." He looked at the thrashing girl in his arms. "Sorry Gajeel." He smashed his fist into the side of her head and her thrashing stopped as she fell unconscious.

"What's going on here?!" A voice shouted and we all turned. "Master!"
