Opening my eyes was a workout. And sitting up was next to impossible. My head was throbbing like someone was beating it with a sledge hammer. And my whole body was in pain. When my eyes adjusted to the light coming through the window, I look around and realize that I'm still in my own room.

Was that all a dream? I wonder

But before I can complete my thought the door to my room opens and Ethan enters. I just stare at him shocked at his sudden appearance in my house.

"You're awake!" He exclaims as he approaches my bed.

"What are you doing in my house? How do you even know I live here?" I question harshly.

"Oh! Anna didn't tell you yet. Well, let me formally introduce myself again. I'm Ethan your STF agent. Pleased to make your acquaintance Mr. Waters." He states in a professional tone.

"Yeah sure new kid. And I'm the president." I mock humourlessly. But deep in my mind I knew that he was telling the truth because it was happening exactly like the letter stated. And there was no way for him to read the letter. Unless, he sent it himself as a prank. But why does he need to go to such lengths for a simple prank. And what does he even gain by doing this?

"Ahem. If your done with your monologue, I would like to point your attention to the fact that we're already behind schedule and if we don't leave in the next hour, my job will be at stake. We don't want that now, do we." He snaps me out of my daze.

"What do you mean? I can't just up and leave like that. I need to pack. I need to tell my aunt." I say in a panic to try and find a reason to stay because honestly I really had nothing to tie me down here.

My parents died when I was five. I don't really have any friends that would care if I leave or not. Rather I don't really have connections with people except for my aunt. And that too just because she is the one taking care of me since my parents death. She was alone and I was alone, so it was a win-win situation for both of us.

"Oh. I already talked to Anna and she packed your stuff for you. You just have to pack any additional stuff you want to take with you" He says smugly.

I stare at him dumbfounded "My aunt agreed to send me away with a stranger and even packed my bags?" I question disbelievingly.

"Yes. Now go get ready I'll meet you downstairs." He says while pushing me inside the bathroom.

"What just happened?" I ask while staring at myself in the mirror.
